Honestly, the only reason I don't run time stretch is because I currently only own one. If I had another, I would likely just cut stroke of genius for it.
The problem comes when you keep a hand of removal or draw it when there are no targets. That specific build is ripe with removal, often uselessly. Against the mirror, RDW and even most naya builds, its okay, but I think it's better kept in the board.
The problem with this is that all of the "definitive series" things would be recommendations, and in the long run, just be another more argued about primer. For instance, I don't even run Vanishing in my build and I'm glad I don't. The point is, there doesn't need to be a lot of discussion on it because its a matter of play style and opinion. I think Flickerform is much better than Vanishing and even easier to get. I doubt everyone would agree with that, so my recommendation is to try both and decide for yourself.
Anyway, it's a neat enough idea, but all of the information and arguments are already there. It's easier to just post a discussion on specific cards in specific decks or just compare and contrast the decks that other people have already posted.
Yeah, I recently got killed by a 13 year old playing Sorrin in a big multiplayer EDH game. I was pretty pissed, going and I'm thinking the specific life changers needs to go. You know who they are and they're really not fun. I dont know who in R&D thought that was a neat idea, but I hate it.
Decks don't go here. Read the sticky about it called "Decks don't go here. Decks posted here will be Deleted".
Also, I would cut the Artifact Lands. They expose you to easy, more meta'ed land destruction and were only ever in the build to fuel stupid Tolarien Academy, which is now healthily banned. Also, Tormod's Crypt seems like a much better idea than it is.
Can't believe this thread is here again already....
Mind over Matter + Arcanis the Omnipotent:
This allows you to draw your entire deck. Playing with Emrakul ensures you never Mill to death. This effectively also gives you infinite mana with which to cast every spell in your deck as many times as you wish. As mentioned, Capsize is a great way to spend this mana or the table will scoop as soon as you get this combo going. I recommend Thousand-Year elixir as well..
The way I see it is why are we here trying to promote the playing of EDH to more players if many of us aren't willing ourselves to agree and conform to what's happening to the format on a grander scale. I see so many people recently saying, "my playgroup have decided to ignore the recent bans", and it's just about the most frustrating thing I can imagine.
They may be "recommended bans" but the more and more you and your playgroup ignore the banlists, the longer the continued ignorance of the rules will be rampant. So please, feel free to ban ADDITIONAL cards in your group, but don't play with things that are generally accepted as banned by the entire community.

Warning for backseat modding.
