What specific match-ups is it reasonable to take out eldritch evolution and chord of calling? I'm having trouble deciding if its correct to take them out in hyper-aggro, mid-range, and control match-ups. Either they feel too slow or I can't build a substantial board state to use them effectively.
Haven't played storm in a while, wondering what the most optimal list is, can any of you guys post your lists for me to see. I'm interested in how people are building it. thanks
As far as Mono-white DnT, goes what are people's thoughts on one drops. In particular I'm very interested in what people think of Icatian Javelineers? Are one drops necessary? Or am I better of fitting more 2-3 drops in the main?
I've been playing a fairly similar list to the one that got 4th at GP Indi, https://www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/466054#online, I was wondering how do I effectively sideboard in rest in peace. I often find myself wanting to put them in and keep in my other graveyard interacting cards such as Eternal Witness, Finks, and Ooze. Some decks I like to bring rest in peace in against are Dredge, Jund, Abzan, Abzan coco, Living End. Eternal Witness, Finks, and Ooze all seem decent to great in a lot of these match ups.
It would be cool to read some insight on how you guys sideboard.
I've been looking into old modern decks and came across, a Scepter of Secrets decklist from 2012. Does anyone know why this deck isn't being played in the current modern format. On paper it looks like a very strong deck.
