I see what you're saying, but it's not a huge thing. I personally dislike it when the T2 forums get really strict, it pisses me off if I have to have this and this and this just to post a deck. On the other hand, there can't be crap left and right. The rules now are pretty decent.
Hey, alls I'm sayin' is I really like the art. I by no means have made up my mind yet. If I say, "You have my vote," it doesn't mean I won't change my stance in a heartbeat, only that that one is the best so far. If someone posts something that I think is better, I'll vote for them. Don't get discouraged! Post the best one, so I'll say something like
"Wow, your art is, in my opinion, the best piece, and brutally ass-rapes the competition. Good job!"
I think Bad Luck has my vote. I like El Garbo's style, but even before coloring Bad Luck's artwork is just too brilliant a take on this "Stasis" concept to ignore. You get props for the artwork itself as well as the creativity.
How 'bout, "You have a spectacular gilfriend's username?" Only kidding, of course.
...Her username isn't that good.
Anyway, this whole strict labeling thing drives me nuts. Like, in order to be "this" you have to do "this?" I understand that it's always been like that for the in-crowd or whatever but I thought Goth-ism was all about not conforming. I myself don't have a specific label, but people call me a punk/slacker/nerd in order from most to least. I'm the first to admit I do nerdy stuff, but I don't act nerdy. At least in a stereotypical way.
EDIT: Yeah... Strip Magic... and frequent posters get to play too. Or they might just snap.
I'm in America, so I dunno about the Euro-Goths. Emos I hate too. You'd actually be surprised how similar the two are. Not in initial message and ideal, but what they've become.
Goths do nothing but bother me. They are so whiny. As if their lives are so bad! None of ours are! Listen: If they can afford to mosy on over to the "Hot Topic" and buy $60 pants with belts and chains, then they got it good enough.
Well, I've had quite an ordeal. This is Insane Hermit, by the way. I said so on the ManaTap Mayhem board, but I figure the story deserves to be told here too.
You may have noticed I've been away for a while. That's due to...
1st: My computer broke. Don't ask me how or why.
2nd: After it being fixed, we spent a week moving.
3rd: Once moved, no internet. Just got it back.
So here I finally am, after much delay and being pissed.
This is why I changed my username on everything: it turns out that someone who uses the alias "Insane Hermit" is part of some neo-nazi ring. Now, I hate nazis, like any sensible human being. When I finally get back online, I have like nine emails from some racist hitler-loving ****hole. So I'm "Spectyr" on everything now.

Won't that warm your heart?
Stupid video... losin' my votes away. I need some sort of gimmick. In my articles, I'll um... draw cartoons of Jesus juggling monkeys! Yeah!
I voted for the Dr. Tom Cranial Insertion. That article just totally rapes mine, good job man.
Just kiddin.

Oh my, ButteBlues, did I mention how fine your avatar looks today?
Raia, what a wonderful username you have!
Mark Rosewater! That pink font is looking sharp!
Belgareth, you have a... um... spectacular... uh... damn.
Just kidding.
No objections, by the way.
If there's no rule about it, no problem. And if there is... well, you know what they say about rules: "F*ck Rules."
