Description:
Basically, I'm looking to overwhelm my opponent early game with a lot of cheap and cheap-ish zombie cards and zerg my way into a win. I have extra control cards to keep the other player vulnerable while I build a mana pool for the more stronger cards and dwindle their health exponentially. The graveyard-to-hand cards are to help with bringing back my stronger zombies, or my weaker ones in a pinch. I utilize Gray Merchant of Asphodel mid-late game as a game finisher.
If there is a better strategy you see with these cards, please let me know cause I'm still a fairly inexperienced player outside of playing against my friends!
Bad Moon and Withered Wretch are definitely considerable, however I do also have Crypt Creeper, you think that would be a cheap (and effective) alternative?
Mutavault looks solid too, but it feels so wrong to pay so much for a (really good) land :P.
So I've been working on this deck for a couple months now, playing it mostly casually with my friends.
I wanna take this to another level and make it more suitable for modern, so I dont laughably get my arse kicked.
"I really love playing this deck because of how fast and overwhelming it can be when playing friends. However, I find that when I play more serious players, I am getting my arse handed to me, so I wanted to get some feedback for future development.
The strategy is pretty basic - cheap creatures, cheap kill spells, cheap resurrection spells. I've added Gray Merchant of Asphodel for an easy late game win as well as Crypt Incursion in the case of a bind. Quest for the Gravelord works well with the kill spells and it allows me to bring in a beefy zombie when I'm going to be using my kill spells anyways.
This is my first deck that I've posted, so I will add more strategy descriptions as this deck changes."
The cards I have considered for this deck, but haven't added due to not having money are:
Hey,
I want to be short and sweet with this one because I came here to work on a few decks.
I'm a Modern/Casual player. Based in the west coast of Canada. I used to play a lot when I was younger, to a much lesser extent.
Hope to have a really pleasant and productive time with everyone!
