Overpreformers: quilled wolf, vessel of ephemera, murderers axe, nearhearth chaplain (I already knew the card was great, but it's just absurd with equipment), and dual shot.
Underpreformers: delerium cards. It takes a lot of work or a long game to make delerium work.
It's a shame that the demon is a 5/4, as a 5/5 it would be a sweet sideboard card against RW or Jeskai tokens, but stoke the flames makes playing it a huge tempo loss
I was thinking about making a cube that is entirely centered around graveyard shenanigans, but red and white seem to have much fewer cards that interact with the graveyard, so I had the idea of making it sultai colored
Between this and topor orb I really want to make a modern deck that abuses negative ETB effects like treacherous pit dweller and eater of days. It has the added bonus of hosing pod and twin decks
Do you think the darksteel citadel is telegraphing fortifications being a thing in khans of tarkir? It's a card that would play very nicely with them but wouldn't fit the flavor of the set
Very versatile. I imagine it seeing play in R/G monsters. The fact that it can get more than creatures is nice for wrath protection. You could find an o-ring effect, planeswalker, etc. I especially love comboing this with xenagos (god). If you cast it for 12 (not all that unreasonable in a R/G monsters deck) you can kill your opponent in one shot.

Limited format is on par with khans and rtr in my book.
