Thank you very much! I dont mind if the deck is not competitive, currently I am playing G/R monster/monstrosity in paper on FNM and playing Selesnya aggro(without voices sadly too expensive) on MTGO. I wanted to try something people arent playing much which Selesnya so far isnt played at my FNM or much on MTGO, and Karametra seems worseless when I first saw it and everyone says it is, but I am so new I dont know what half of those core set cards you listed were till I just looked them up. I can try to make it work though. Much appreicated for doing the hardwork I couldnt do +1.
ok guys dont laugh at me but I am a 2 month old MTG player. I wanted to try to make this card useful and I want to build a deck around using it(bad idea to build around one card) but what if I made a deck using 3-4 Karametras(the idea is to use her for ramp) along with elvish mystics, burning trees, karametras acolytes and nykthos for ramp. creatures would be the Hero of Leina Tower no one uses, Hero of Iroas, Phalanx Leader, and basically the rest being auras and enchantments(and Nylea the god)? am I trying to do too much with one deck? Primeval Bounty would be a good card that I would run as well. Should I give up on thinking outside the box?
Hello! I have been playing magic for 6-7 weeks now :)my friend started me off with R/G monsters and I thoroughly enjoy it(although I dont win too much because half of my match ups I have a hard with, mono black devotion, mono blue devotion, and control) I still enjoy FNM and go every night.
My friend started playing MTGO so I gave it a shot and heard of this Selesnya deck. I decided to try it out because it looked very fun. And I like it a LOT. I am actually missing 4 Voice of Resurgence in my main because 30$ is a bit pricey for an online card(I spent a similar cost on Garruk and Xenagos for RL paper but that is fine especially because they arent going out any time soon) Now I wanted to build a deck similar to Selesnya if possible staying within Theros block. What are my choices? Should I wait till that new set comes out in the next few months? I am open to building any deck if it is the same Selesnya style. For exmaple my online deck has Experiment One, Soldier of Pantheon, Banisher Priest, Fleecemaines, Brimazs and Trostani. Spells are Unflinching, God's Willing, Selesnya Charms, and Wurm.
I feel the deck is very resilient and can do a lot, it has monsters, removals, and cool combat tricks. Thanks in advance for any tips! Also color specific isnt too important if you know of a similar deck that is green white.
