I use magiccards.info a lot, so I just kinda hacked up their format to display mine as well. It's actually not a completed page, as you can see if you click on one of the card names.

Yes, but you still need to do a bit of manual editing to change mana about and replace some characters. It's a lot easier than hand writing the whole thing from an MWS set list though.
I recently saw that MSE has some new templates and scripts out. One for exporting to Cockatrice, and numerous for creating really spectacular overlays and card layouts. I basically just played around and made about 17 cards to test this all out.
I have not tested the MWS and Lackey exporting yet, but the Cockatrice one needs some filtering for its export code. I noticed that a double hyphen messes up Cockatrice, and it need to be replaced with a single hyphen. I also noticed that an apostrophe in MSE is different from the apostrophe that Cockatrice expects. Any hybrid and phyrexian mana are also formatted wrong.
I would love to hear some suggestions on how to address these things in a more automated fashion, and also any suggestions on building custom sets that are fairly balanced for Vintage.
This set permits the addition of non-standard colours, as well as overlays. The overlay functionality is really cool, and it works in conjunction with foil overlays, as you can see in this example. The overlay is a bit tricky at first, but it's not too hard to get the hang of. I just have poor Photoshop skills.
So, this one looked like it might be a cool template. The problem was that I could not find a place to put any casting cost or card type. So, I just kinda wrote them in to fit with the rest of the card. One nice thing was that I was able to change the text colour to non-standard colours of my choosing. This card didn't turn out that well, but I believe the template has some potential.
This was a really cool alternative template. The main thing that sets it apart, is that that the text boxes are slanted, and the image area is a jagged edge.
The images were just taken from Google images. I'm really not to a point of concerning myself with doing completely original cards that are legitimately playable until I get some of the technical issues sorted first.
