Hey guys! Since I just entered this, I thought I should come in and say hi, and since people have asked about cards, I was very unsure how to word the following:

When Nekoromancer enters the battlefield, put a 2/2 Zombie token into the battlefield. X, T: Put a token into the battlefield that is a copy of target Zombie you control, except it's power and toughness is halved. X is the targetted Zombie's converted mana cost. "When the cats yowl in the alleys of Innistrad, one can be sure something more is going on than mere stray cats..."

I've designed fake Yu-Gi-Oh cards for a lot of years but I have never really done it for Magic ones (I am just now really getting into Magic as I have actual ways to play it now), so I don't know a lot about proper wording for cases like this. (I also didn't know how to solve the memory issue for Monochromatic) Did I at least come close to right, heh?

This card doesn't seem too playable due to the high cost, but I still really like it. The first +1 oozes flavor, all the other abilities are cool and the 2nd +1 really gets the black + green feel across, the art is good and I love the name. It also feels EXCITING, even if it isn't necessarily good, and that gets me pumped. Dunno how well this Garruk will do, but I love him all the same.
I can absolutely see this as properly replacing JAoT in forthcoming U/W/x control builds. His +1, while no mini Fact or Fiction, produces card advantage while protecting himself- the exact opposite of JAoT. Considering that I almost never +1 JAoT out out of the gate anymore, I welcome a Jace that protects himself better then the last one by having a loyalty of 5, a +1 that 90% of the time you'll prefer to use upon resolution, and -3 that bounces while still leaving him at a sturdy enough loyalty.
The +1 doesn't draw as I understand it, so it does not produce card advantage. You just look at the top two and send one to the Graveyard.
