ok but whats the difference between locking the players out of a color temporarily and just removing them from the game in general? 9 mana is a lot and there are other cards that can just end it for people at that amount of mana. Sure after a few turns if she sticks the mono color person will lose but thats true with any other bomb that can end people and not dealt with right away.

Sure if they are mono color they may not be able to cast color spells but are still in the game (can still play lands and other color/colorless spells, attack/block, use ability's). Also Targeting a player with effects is not new. I have been targeted by LD to the point i could not do anything but still in the game, at least with Iona i have a chance of doing things once its removed, with LD if im not drawing land im not doing anything. and even if i am drawing land id be so far behind that id be most likly dead before i get up to speed. whats the difference between blowing up my land and not being able to cast one color

As far as other player's protecting Iona i have yet to see it, and if people are the mono color must have been a threat that they need to be removed/killed.

I get that the card can be strong and even overbearing at times but there are other cards that could just end the players. I find it hard to Ban a card that just dies to removal and dose not end games. As far as Meta's not suited to that card that goes back to adapt/updating your deck or change your power level of the deck to match others around you.

The Problem i saw with PE was that if you had a somewhat heavy artifact deck you should have PE. It almost didnt matter what the deck did as long as you had a good amount of artifacts it was a must add and made the deck a lot better, with some minor tweaks can make it game ending.

Iona is different though. she is not played in every single white deck. The decks she is mostly found in are Angle theme (have lots of other big angle threats), stasis/broad control (she will not be the only thing locking people down), GY rez decks (lots of other juicy targets). The point is yes she is strong but she mostly just a piece to something bigger and unless 1v1 is not game winning at 9 mana. There are a bunch of other cards that you can ramp into or cheat into play that will just flat out win the game or knock someone out right away, but preventing a color from playing is too much? I have seen games where a player gets knocked out of the game very early and has to wait a long time just for the others to finish. At least with Iona IF the user was mono color you have other players to help, deals to be made and still have options of colorless tech.

Speaking of colorless tech one big thing i like about commander is that your deck is never finished and it changes depending on your meta. you play, change and adapt to type of decks you play against. If i have a mono color deck im going to pack in a few things in colorless to help with my short commings, and if Iona is in my meta id probably add colorless removal. If your play group keeps on complaining about certain decks or cards and then continue to do nothing about it, that's on them (granted if the overall power level of your deck does not match your meta then thats on you. Dont bring competitive decks to causal tables). Even If they dont draw the needed cards and is locked down there is nothing preventing them from table talking to get help or setup an alliance to destroy Iona and even that player.

Banning a card because its not fun, i get it. but then you might as well ban any and all stax effects and mass LD. Because I dont get to play when people play that way. Combo's should be ban too because i didnt get to play or do much before they combo off and im not playing blue so i cant counter. Play more removal/answers you say? well, isn't that the answer to most treats, including Iona?

There are a lot of other things that can be said about why a card should/should not be banned, but Iona to me is just a creature that will most likly die from the next board-wipe that's commonly played in this format.

as far as PS goes, I have looked at PS before but mostly ignored because it was banned so im not sure what it can fully do, but one thing about it is that its not going to be played in every single deck, and the decks it is played in will most likely been seen as any other combo piece and be treated that way by the others and if not removed right away/shortly will either combo off or be removed by a board-wipe.

I too built a deck after watching the Commander Quarters. Very fun! You look like you have a bit more of a budget and that should help out a ton. Some minor things to look out for: Creatures that you want to stick around for awhile and color fixing.

For some of your pillow fort and mana ramp/fixing you rely pretty heavy on creatures. This does not seem like a bad thing but if people want to start attacking you (and they will after you keep helping others so much) they will board wipe, not only wiping out your board but most likely all the hippos you gave to others. Even if they just want to wipe out the growing hippo army the boardwipe still hits you just as hard and can take time for you to recover.
The Commander Quarters video/deck shows off more cards that put lands directly into play along with enchantments and some artifacts (same with pillow fort). Things that are harder to get rid of, and with a bigger budget easier to protect. This is more of a meta call but something to think about

Prismatic Omen, Chromatic Lantern are great for getting the colors you need and i feel like you do have enough tutors to get them when needed, Just make sure you can get alot of Green Mana.

As a fun card to add look into: Phyrexian Rebirth, kill everything and get a big creature. Seems like a fun board wipe for the deck

I think you should look into more Ramp (not a fan of the one time uses like dark ritual, perhaps just some rocks). reconnaissance, psychosis crawler and chasm skulker all seem like really good fits. Only thing id be worried about is GY Hate, something that dose something like Epitaph Golem can help you save needed cards (probly better things, just did a quick search) or something that gives you the player hexproof so people cant target your GY

Bitterblossom seems like a good token engine, always make sure you have a creature to use your Ninjas on and bonus if you turn all the tokens into Ninjas with Arcane Adaptation

My Promo was The First Eruption.....needless to say i did not play it.
As far as EDH goes both Green ones are easy slots into lots of my decks (w/ green of course). lots of the other ones need you to have a theme or certain build to get full value out of them

There’s a few others that give decent evasion like Fear or Intimidate and are fairly cheap to cast, and some kinda flavorful:
    Dark Favor
    Dragon Shadow
    Fear
    Gruesome Deformity
    Molting Snakeskin
    Predator’s Gambit
    Skeletal Grimace
    Vow of Malice

I think out of that list the 2 that give Regenerate would be pretty good. otherwise id look into Bestow maybe (so you dont get 2for1)
Nighthowler, Herald of Torment, Cavern Lampad

Graven Abomination seems good for GY hate
Ovalchase Dragster also seems like it could do some damage

Specter's Shroudturning your guys into specters could be fun (note only works with 1 toughness). with that said you could add more equipment that just add power to make unblockable. Bloodforged Battle-Axe, Captain's Claws, Hammer of Ruin could help with the damage and Moonsilver Spear poop out some flying 4/4's
