I'm hoping for a legendary land cycle. It's been some time now sence the legendary rule change and if there was a set to do it in I would think it would be in this one. Presuming landfall is gonna be as big of a theme as the last cycle.
Today is the last day for the buy one get one 50% off on boosters and event decks at Walgreens.
/// with my experience from the last BOGO Walgreens had. They will do rain checks. Or offer a discount if they only have the one pack. I was able to talk the cashier into giving me the third pack I was gonna buy at half price.
"613.6c An object's timestamp is the time it entered the zone it's currently in, unless it's an Aura, Equipment, or Fortification that's attached to another object or player, or it's a face-up plane card, phenomenon card, or scheme card.
613.6d If an Aura, Equipment, or Fortification becomes attached to an object or player, the Aura, Equipment, or Fortification receives a new timestamp at that time."
what is fortification? possible new card type? or new ability?
Im going out on a limb here but i feel like it is a move wizards would make. With the new legendary ruling Starting soon they can explore new legendary lands. In the wizards article that was floating around here a few weeks back, they hinted about wanting to do more legendary lands. At first i thought utility lands or Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep type cards, but now im leaning more towards legendary dual land design.
We obv just had RTR, seeing the reprint of shock lands. My guess is its not going to be the next block, Theros, not even in the fallowing set. Its going to be the block that rotates RTR outta standard.
unless i missed it, HELLO! REANIMATOR!. no more U/B careful study, hapless researcher.. We can finally move back to the B/R Anger style deck. seems legit do to the resent graveborn release. now that wizards has their act together.
YES LOTUS PETAL CAUSED NO PROBLEM IN ANY FORMAT AT ALL.
ALSO ARC-SLOGGER WAS THE WORST CARD, NOBODY PLAYED IT BECAUSE YOU COULD AT MOST GET 4 USES OF ITS ABILITY.
This text here is so the all-caps filter doesn't trigger.
i play arc slogger all day long in my 250/5-color deck, and i seem to remember a nasty combo with reap and lotus petal and deathlace .
as for the card...i like

i would have much rather seen these then the "real" ones.. maybe having to pay 1life in addition to discarding could bring them to "common" level. other then that i see nothing wrong with them...
It comes with 2 goyfs!

On a side note, i do feel like we will see Shinka, the Bloodsoaked Keep type cards in Theros.
Thoughts?
Edit: Glad to see a lot of people think the same as me
