Been playing this list at weekend EDH events at a store near me, it is almost too much fun. I get some great reactions when I started putting out dice for the storm count. Have you tested Dark Deal? It's no Wheel but it might be enough to draw into gas when you stall out. I'm thinking of trying to jam it in my list somewhere. I'd love any comments or recommendations on my list. LED is a bit outside my price range right now. I've been having some success with Young Pyromancer as a way to get Cradle online early.
Would love to watch more videos where you explain your lines of play in game, feel like I'm just beginning to scratch the surface of storm. The comeuppance video had me dying.
Kind of an off-topic question: I'm considering building a reanimator deck for Canadian Highlander which has no general or color restrictions. What would you add/cut if you weren't restricted to BUG? Thanks!
There is a Duel Commander tournament coming up at my LGS and this is what I'm working on. I haven't played French and I don't have any insight into the field I'll see so I want to prioritize flexibility and resiliency. Unfortunately, I don't own OG duals so I'll be slumming it with shocks. Any recommendations on the decklist and the format are welcome. Thanks!
Flying creatures are a big part of my meta as well. I found Thopter Assembly and Pentavus to be pretty useful for generating blockers. Pentavus can especially be a wall when you leave mana up to create a token, block, and sac it to go back on Pentavus. Akroma's Memorial does the Lord's work.
The question you want to be asking yourself is, "does my deck want Gaea's Cradle?" If the answer is yes, then you want Xenagos. The mana he makes with tokens is not to be underestimated. His second ability allows him to protect himself which is just gravy. I use him in Prossh and generally never use any of his other abilities, passing up using his ult just so I can get more of that mana.
I just started putting together a list for Noyan and I plan on using Trade Routes, Compulsion, and Planar Birth as an engine for big card advantage. Might be something to consider. And Embargo for the fun of it.
Whats your take on the Orbs? I have been cutting some of the stax-y effects and I am waffling between Static and Winter Orb. Why'd you pick Static?
I like Static because I can turn it off with Clock of Omens but it seems a bit crueler/will paint a bigger target on my back than Winter Orb as it affects all permanents.

My reason for including the MLD was to delay everyone else so I could build up to an emblem or a good defense because I assume he will be hated on immediately when I play him. My new plan is to play a list without the MLD and see how it plays. How do you usually defend your early Daretti from attack?
The Seething Song is just a placeholder for Fellwar Stone. When I was putting this together, my top priority was to pack the deck with ways to get Daretti into play T2/T3.
Mesmeric Orb seemed a decent way to fill the yard. A probable cut for a mountain. There is a lot of recursion in my meta, but besides a Karador deck and my Chainer, there isn't pure reanimator.
Thran Foundry can protect my yard and (temporarily) get rid of the Karador/any problematic yard. Does the lifegain come into play that much?

Finally bought the Daretti precon the other day, wondering if anyone had any comments for improvement. My budget for new cards is limited but I'm open to all suggestions. The general strategy is to ramp out a fast Daretti and then drop a MLD spell to delay everyone's development and allow me to up Daretti's loyalty. Keldon Firebombers seem like exactly what I want to do so I'll have to pick one up.

Added some filter spells, Alhammarret's Archive, Vandalblast, Thopter Assembly, Nevinyrral's Disk, Recoup, Krark-Clan Ironworks, Hellkite Igniter, Hammer of Purphoros, Clock of omens and got an "altered" Mox Diamond for super cheap. Probably some other little changes (I'm a habitual tinkerer) but nothing too huge. Feel like this version will play a lot friendlier than my previous iteration. Any comments are welcome and thank you guys for such a great thread. I'd like to get Feldon back in but I don't know what to cut.
