am i the only one that thinks that the rate they're pushing the inhumans introduction a little too aggressive?

on one hand it would be great if they could introduce more of the universe other characters since as of late the whole SHIELD Vs HYDRA storyline getting a little stale.

but on the other hand it feels the route they're taking seems to be the same reason that i was put off western comics for the past few decades, where you need to catch up on the other source to get the full picture. (considering the fact that the current MCU consist of 2 tv series, average of 2 movies and plan of 4 web mini series. i'm guessing it would be a matter of time when those mega event crossover event would happen to the MCU)

    and on the ep

    damn, i liked trip Frown

Looking for suggestions on some animes to watch.

Fate: Stay/Night Unlimited Blade Works the tv series. Great plot, good animation, and compelling characters.

    fix'ed Grin

the tv series is much better then the movie, considering it doesn't have the weird pacing issue but with the production quality of a ova/movie budget.

speaking of fate series, the spinoff(?) prisma illya is also a pretty decent series considering that it's an alt world spin-off tale with magical girls. the fact that it caught my attention means that it's worth a watch.

    others suggestions.

Suisei no Garugantia - a well produce (actual) sci-fi

Tiger & Bunny - a great super hero show with nostalgic feeling of old 90's saturday morning western animation.

No Game No Life - a well produce fun show. warning though if you're a prude just skip this, i'm a little tired to see most of the negative comments since most of them are not constructive and just plain dumb.

Ping Pong - a well directed drama. warning if you like your shows to don't look like what shaft use for it's tv broadcast skip this (it's not as bad as it but still animation style make you wonder where their whole animation budget went)

Clannad + after story - i can't stress enough how great this series is, although the first few ep is a little mediocre but after that it's a masterpiece of a drama, and one of the few dramas that i do re-watch from time to time. WARNING: watch Angel Beats first or you will be disappointed since it's created by the same person

Probably, but the boxing glove would still have absorbed and distributed some of the arrow's energy. It wouldn't have gotten to that point, though, because the arrow would never have flown with that massive unaerodynamic weight at the front.

But more importantly: who cares? Boxing glove arrow!

I laughed so hard when the happened. I had been telling my wife about the boxing glove arrow for weeks and how I wanted one to show up.

"For when I want to punch someone who is really far away"

but considering it's only a few meters it's not impossible, the only unbelievable part would being able to knock a really well trained fighter with that much force distribution.

but who cares about logic. Flash Vs Arrow yay!

Constantine remains in contention for a second-season renewal

for NBC it basically means on permanent hiatus, unless there's a fan petition with lots of support mailed to the excec.

and yeah i know that Gotham is Fox, i'm pointing out that there's a much crappier show out there that most likely won't get a second season but at least Fox let the show run before calling a halt of production barely halfway through a season.

    ^ this

The Mandarin as a character is, essentially, fetish material.

Although I ******* adored Iron Man Armored Avengers portrayal. It was amazing.

i do like IMAA (not counting the animation, i seriously don't get why studios like to used that cell shaded animation style on organic life when it always comes out awkward)

but... the Mandarin portrayal was a bit too much of a cookie cutter shonenish antagonist which got sideline which only get pops out to show that "hey i'm still relevant to the story", and when he got interesting the show got canned.

i know the target audiance isn't hard-core iron-man fans and the objective is to sell merchandise but marvel animated division could take a cue from WB and the DC animation, hack they could even take reference from their 90's animated series and produce contained stories that branched out with different sub plots.

which i would like to point out that Agents has been doing a good job of (unlike the first half of season 1 which feels like a creature feature of the week).

finally i would post my wish for the series. since they are confirming to explore the mysitical side of the Marvel universe Agents might be a good place to introduce iron fist, hell even heroes for hire for i care.

......oh and maybe Donnie Yen as Shang-Chi. you know just saying

to put it bluntly you're going to watch the second part for the feels. (ughh hate using that term)

i don't see how they could screw this arc over with it's pacing problem since it's not an action centric arc. but then again they did made GGO into a pretty mundane arc... so umm yeah...

My favorite part of the episode was when Mack made Fitz sit down and play Halo with him. I get the impression that Fitz hasn't had many friends in his life and certainly not many guy friends. At first I thought Simmons made a mistake by leaving Fitz but now I see that they needed the time apart to grow up a little more and learn what they can become, both inside and outside of S.H.I.E.L.D..

got to agree here, this has got to be one of the best scene from this season so far especially shows Fitz slight recovery from his brain by actually being able to communicate coherently.

and well the map really took me off guard, i always thought it was a 3D star map at the end of the first season not that.

Welcome to being a disgruntle HxH fan

    fixed :p

i basically drop this series during it's period of 2 years break and 1 half done draft release tease along side BASTARD!!.

It's def boring. Already dropped Grisaia cause I'm playing the VN and once the library VN gets translated, i'll probably play that one too. And trinity seven just kinda sucks.

i wouldn't call it boring just really really really badly directed and edited.
besides pacing issue there's also the badly time dialogue. i really wished that the person that directed the opening was the one doing the show :/

in short read the original comic. if you're not a fan it would be only worth for the service and if you're a fan you'll be disappointed.

i'm really stupid for getting my hopes up with NGNL being such a great adaptation that others will have a bench mark to follow, this year basically confirms my believe that if it not done by one of those bigger studios all adaptation are generally crap. Mad

I wish Skye was a Makluan and her dad was Fin Fang Foom. Space dragons are the new mutants!

    no.

after what they did in ironman 3 i'm wishing that they put that part of the mythos on hold

At first I was willing to believe that Simmons was really into Tripp last season but the more I think about it, the more that makes no sense. Tripp is an assertive, alpha male kind of guy who wouldn't play coy about liking Simmons and so if he actually had a shot with her I think they would be together.
Your logic seems to be overlooking the possibility that Tripp isn't attracted to Simmons. Or maybe he's just a bit more reserved than you're giving him credit for. In any case, getting from what we've seen to "Simmons is lesbian" is a huuuuge leap. Especially since Simmons doesn't just get gooey and distracted around Tripp - she is also very obviously attracted to Mike Peterson. (She seems to have a type...)

    not to mention Thor Wink

    any genre

    http://myanimelist.net/mangalist/AudioTsunami

Im reading RRR right now and almost done other than that the is accurate

    my list
    [snip]

generally speaking 9 & 10 are good works that you would like even if you don't like the genre.
7 & 8 are for outstanding works in the genre

5 & 6 are works in the genre that is enjoyable for as a pop-corn filler

and anything bellow 4 you should avoid like the plague.
4 is still readable and some might find them enjoyable
    3 has really bad writing
2 & 1 are basically works that you wish to retcon punch it out of your memory.

on a side note seeing the list now i should really find some time to update it since some of the ratings would be a little off for the works that still is in publishing.

and if you're not sure what to read try Quick Start! it's basically a tabaletop RPG k-on

if you ask me inou battle isn't really that great since i read the novel and comics, the animation cut of too many gags and parody trying to stuff as much plot line into each ep.

basically it's like ichizon season 2 with a higher budget (not season 1 since all though season 1 also cut a lot of stuff they still kept lots of the good gags into it)

have to agree with blinky here, Rena as acting goes was pretty good but as a character she just isn't interesting for you to care let alone hate.

i could see her being develop with actual dark nefarious plans but as of yet she just look like agent mulder without the conviction to take charge, and isn't a comic relief or patsy character either.

normally characters like Rena wouldn't even have a name
