Ive been playing this in the magic online 2 man ques at about a 75% win rate so far. It still needs some work but it is playing pretty well. Take inventory is actually really good and everytime I cast jace I feel like its very hard to lose the game at that point. I need something to make my bant coco matchup better. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
I built this deck and have been trying it out in 2mans and the tournament practice room to pretty good success. Looking for advice or criticism on the deck
- considering bringing in some number of abrupt decays into the main deck, I always seem to bring them in in every matchup
- Reaper of the wilds- Played with it and it was complete trash never was super excited to see it when I drew it.
-Mutavault- Not sure if I want mutavaults on top of playing basic forests in trying to cast bile blight on turn two.
-Pain seer- It has been good almost everytime I've drawn it. T1 springleaf into T2 seer is very good. Also the potential for T3 demon which is very good.
-Courser of Kruphix- along with Pain Seer these two put in serious work and net so much card advantage. Truly an all-star and the main reason to add green
-Scavenging Ooze- Very strong in most matchups really can turn around a game on its own. Also works well with springleaf if you are running low on green.
---Matchups---
Burn-Worst matchup by far really need some help in that area.
Mono-Blue- lots of removal and card advantage usually goes your way pretty good
G/R monsters- you out value them with your cards on top of your removal.
Mono-Black- Really draw dependent played it a few times and it felt 60/40 in our favor. Just have to keep their threats to a minimum and not let huge gray merchants happen.
So far the deck has played alright. Mono-Black feels like a 50/50 matchup depending on draws. My weakest is by far mono- Blue even after board I have to get extremely lucky.
Looking for any advice or suggestions on how to make the deck/matchups better.
