Well I never got a chance to play FNM last week but I did play a bunch of practice games with some buddies. I was happy to find that out of nearly 20 games I never needed to mulligan. The only times I ran into a little trouble was when I was sitting on a Fork with no False Cure. Fork still won nearly half the games for me due to being able to either copy Berserk, Invigorate, a second False Cure, and even in one case a strategically copied Lightning Bolt pulled off a win for me. I'm thinking I might switch one Fork for Soul's Fire but I can't deny how effective it's been and how it could be my best defence for counters. Does the deck need red or white? Probably not but with 10 dual lands and 9 fetches it's not even a problem. If I ever remove a color it would be red and I might put some mongrels in but I don't need them now. It was against some more casual decks for most of the games but I still absolutely destroyed my opponent half the time and was able to win with about 10 life left for the other 90% of the games. My deck lost only once and that was only because I let my friend use this deck against me while I played my Eldrazi deck and barely won. Overall I'm super happy with the performance so far. Think I might leave those Goyfs in after all.

So I saw a bob with Jafar alt art from Aladdin. I thought it would be hilarious to have a alt art FoW or even basic counterspell with Lana from the show Archer. Flavor text: "noop"
Reverent Silence could also give your Kavu Predator 6 counters then with a Berserk it's hardly dead anymore. With multiple Kavus out and Grove of the Burnwillows 6 life gain could be devastating. Also I find while playing this deck that I am nearly always good on green mana which is why my dual lands including Bayou produce black mana. I see that most of your lands produce green and something else, I think if you take into account all the "free" spells you can cast you will see that not much green mana is required
With that in mind I decided punishing fire, which is great, just has no place in this deck, Fork has some promise I think. Also a set of Berserk seems like just the kick this deck needs mid-game.
Props for Alms Beast and Nature's Claim, great choices. I don't really understand only running 3 False Cure. I'm sure you already know this but casting 2 False Cure then making opponent gain 7 life will make them lose 21. I'm curious to hear your explanation
Yeah the reason I did punishing fire was because the synergy that grove already has with Kavu and false cure. Adding in the Huntmasters was just to capitalize on the fact that I already had red and green in the deck and could fetch them quite easily. The white splash was purely for swords. Admittedly the Huntmasters may extraneous but it seems like they are perfect for buying me time to draw what I need. So essentially you mean cutting out more lands would be beneficial and replacing them with land searching spells right?
