They should have just made it cost three and tap for one. Literally this card is in no way helpful to anything. I can see it in a deck with huge ramp or a deck that tries to win turn 1 but triple X is just bad. And if it was two X it would still be mediocre.

If it was XX it would be strictly better than Everflowing Chalice, a card that is already quite good and playable.

    Satyr Wayfinder 1G
    Creature — Satyr
When Satyr Wayfinder enters the battlefield, reveal the top four cards of your library. You may put a land card from among them into your hand. Put the rest into your graveyard.
    1/1

So, mini Mulch on a stick. Does this make GB dredge viable? Conley Woods considered it good already before BNG, and imo the Wayfinder is a nice addition.

    What do you think?

I must admit BNG looks pretty low powered at first glance. Hopefully there are some hidden gems in there.

What's worse for me is that the set just feels unimaginative and boring. Almost none of the cards and none of the mechanics inspires me (pun intended).

It does not double the odds or ensure land drops. It increases the odds of hitting land drops by the percentage of lands in your deck(ish).

This makes no sense to me. If it increases the odds of hitting land drops by the percentage of lands in your deck(ish), then it does double the odds, right..?

No. it means you're drawing an extra card around every three turns. You only draw the extra card if you have a land on top, and you can play that land. Assuming a deck of around 40% lands and that you will draw some lands you can't play from the top, you don't really increase the number of cards you draw by that much. The fact that they are lands does help hit land drops somewhat, but overall, the card advantage generated is fairly low.

Look, I'm not saying Kruphix draws you an extra card each turn. It does however let you see an additional card each turn, which you can also play if it is a land card. This way, it virtually doubles your chances of hitting your land drops.

How dies this ensure that you're not missing land drops?

A bit of an exaggeration, sure, but for the purpose of hitting land drops Kruphix on the battlefield means you're virtually drawing 2 cards a turn.

Lol, 7-mana reanimation. At that point you may as well play Raise Dead and hardcast the creature instead.

When's red going to get something like this?

    Never. Red doesn't kill enchantments.

Correct me if I'm wrong but he works well with bounce spells? For instance Voyage's End? You steal anything but a creature, giving them the Chimera. Then you cast Voyage's End targetting the Chimera. Either it gets returned to your hand, or returned to your control and they bounce it or another one of your creatures...

Doesn't work as good as you think. Either your opponents lets you bounce the Chimera, which means you have to replay it (mana intensive). Or your opponent exchanges control of Chimera and re-targets another permanent you own (presumably something you stole from him..?), which means you're back to square one.

Imo, this is one of the most interesting cards spoiled so far. Decent stats for 3 mana, and it virtually ensures you never miss a land drop as long as it's on the battlefield. I'm not convinced about it fitting in UG, though (don't like that combination), I'm thinking this may find a home in BG.

Wow, I was really surprised to find that people in here think this is a good card?! I bet it will be found in the junk bins two months from now.

Combos nicely with Homeward Path, eh? Casual, of course.

A hasty 5/3 for 2RR is probably not playable in this meta, and Oracle of Bones is strictly worse. I don't see this getting any serious play. Oh, and it should definitely have been uncommon, it does not belong at rare.
