Is it advisable to keep or sell a sealed FTV:20 right now? Would it be better to sell as singles or sealed? Would it be feasible to sit on it for a while? Anyone seeing the foil Jace go up in the long run?
Why? Can you elaborate this?
Damnation has old roots in magic, see Plague Wind for example.
Plague wind costs 9. The only reason damnation was printed was because it was colorshifted in an alternate reality set. I think rosewater also commented that he regretted printing it somewhat but my memory is hazy.
The bottom line? Black is already king of pinpoint removal and shoukd have to pay a little extra or get a conditional mass board wipe; which is white's forte. Ancestral recall has old old roots in magic, should it be reprinted?
The plansewalker is awful. Its minus can't be used unless its +1 is used? with no protection from the + that just bad. And the ulitmate? by the time its online there probably won't be much left in the opponents hand and the graveyard probably won't matter. it should exile the library at least....
This planeswalker is sexy. She drops on t3 and goes to 5 loyalty immediately. That is her protection, which also fuels her - ability. That is just baus. And the ultimate? You don't have to use it if you don't want to, it's another tool against control. Even if you don't use it, it probably won't matter. Best of all, she KILLS Eldrazi.
Personally I can't think of any myself, but that's what I felt he was trying to get at. Granted, I could be wrong, but I couldn't read it any other way.
Regardless, there are ways to handle them and players will just have to adjust. I've seen mentions of Thrun somewhere, but I'm getting a bit confused while replying to four different threads on this topic in different parts of the forum all tackling different supposed issues with the change.
This is a card that really feels like it needs another keyword or to cost one less. This would be great at 1RW or if it had haste or vigilance. But as it stands, he's R/W, slow and still not a card that could be in a control deck.
How spoiled have we become that a 4-mana indestructible guy with an extra ability needs to cost 3 mana to be considered 'great'?
