I mean, that flashfrost in response to declaring attackers is pretty good; 2-turn fog FTW. At sorcery it's alot less useful, and if I'm going to pay UUUUU, I had better get something strong!
You wouldn't be able to do it in response to declare attackers as the creatures would still be attacking at that point. You'd have to use this BEFORE declare attackers.
I once traded my 30 mountains for a foil BoP. I felt so bad about it that I also added in about 5 rares and a deck of commons. My conscience still bites me about this.
Votes other than U miss the point of this thread or show limited knowledge on the history of the game. Right now it's not the most powerful colour, but historically it is.
I absolutely cannot think of a format that has ever existed in which 1UUU cannot be produced on turn 4 or earlier by any deck that has a desire/need to hit 1UUU by turn 4 or earlier. What does your comment even mean? Have you played Magic before? Of course Blue decks can make 1UUU!
I think he meant hitting that mana on turn four in a two-or-more coloured deck. Mana bases in the current format are making that 'easy'.
Mono-U would feature less diversity when compared with 5-colour control.
I don't understand the efferet. 4RR is too much for a 6/4 with a potential draw back that can't even be abused.
It's not a bad card for limited due to sheer P/T.
You also get to make your choices meaning you can pit your 1/1 token against the best two creatures of your opponent. At worst, you have a 66% chance of hitting the opponent's permanent.
I'd possibly first pick this, in a booster without terrors, shocks, 4/4 angels or other hot stuff.
Well, the 'combo' is that it can find ANY swamp or mountain, not just basic lands. Thus, it combos with bayou, underground sea, Taiga, Badlands, etc etc etc.
Reborn will be a set with a missing colour - kind of a warp of a type of mana. Instead of adding more I am saying that we'll be getting less (at least for one set). Torment and Judgement did play with such an idea but not to the extreme of the removal of a full colour.
I hate the casting cost, 8 mana for a planeswalker ought to win me the game, which it will not do. Also the youtube thing was blurry but it didn't look like any part of the picture was sticking out into the frame... Every planeswalker I've ever seen has some part of the picture sticking out of the frame. I think that alone makes it a little suspicious as to whether that is a real card or if somebody photoshopped a tips and tricks card.
The art has been confirmed/spoiled by Wizards themselves for quite some time. Why are you acting suspicious on this?
As Thallid said, the one toughness is the downfall of this otherwise playable creature as there are lots of ways to deal with this and as in the case of stinger it would lead to some card disadvantage.
Thornling seems like an amazing card for midrange green decks. Sure it might not be unsummonable lile the original but the indestructable brings it close (will make path to exile a must answer now!)
Edit: -1+1 could prove useful against double infest

Do you want to go out with JohnGalt?

U can also handle it with bribery and its new version in conflux though you still wouldn't have removed it
All white wrath effects will also work.
+ the Ravnica lands in Extended.
+ it used to 'combo' with sensei's divining top.
+ it used to 'combo' with counterbalance.
+ it used to 'combo' with cards that let you manipulate hand and top of library.
