Legendary Creature- Goblin Soldier [uncommon]
When Grishnákh, Brash Instigator enters the battlefield, amass Orcs 2. When you do, until end of turn, gain control of target nonlegendary creature an opponent controls with power less than or equal to the amassed Army's power. Untap that creature. It gains haste until end of turn. 1/1
It also looks like they'll have a landcycling creature cycle that looks interesting.
It's possible that was me?
High school, special ed, North Carolina public school.
The kids are pretty stressed at the moment. (They have exams in two weeks.)
But it slows down quickly after that.
Then I'll try to do some travel over the summer. If I pass through NYC I'll let you know.
Sure, go for it.
..Or any other restrictions for that matter.
Your argument of "try something different" could apply to any cube restrictions, and could be just as fun to build or draft.
Poverty cube - all cards under 10 cents
Desert cube - only play the lands you draft
Alphabet cube - each color/section is only allowed 26 cards each starting with a different letter
America cube - cube only has red, white, and blue.
Tasteless cube - only cards with no flavor text.
I'm down to try new weird cubes, and I suspect most people here are.
But I don't think that's the primary cube most of us (or most cubers) maintain. Which I suspect is why you don't see more uncommon only cubes. But I have no doubt it's still fun.
@JovianHomarid
I think you are correct in that your green could use less durdle. I also think that there are some swaps you could do in red that would work well for R/G, without detracting from the other colors. Something like trading out Ogre Recluse for Scrapper Champion could make the buffs of green look more appealing, and push players in the Gruul direction.
I recently made some changes for my R/G to be more aggro focused by building around pump spells and comboing out with them. Key cards that are more archetype-specific would be Temur Battle Rage, Berserk, Become Immense, and Invigorate. I am thoroughly enjoying the ability for Gruul to have this ability to randomly punch through huge chunks of damage out of nowhere.
This is how I feel about Gruul too.
Once a player resolved the wrangle into berserk the deck has been the dream.
I guess I won't be expecting a ton from MM17, but I'd be happy with 3 good cards and a half dozen or so reprints with the nice M15 frame and most up to date wording (dies, create, etc.)
and not bad for +1/+1 style decks.
Also Cast into the Fire feels like a good way to have main-deckable artifact hate.
A nice looking red 3 drop in Grishnákh, Brash Instigator.

Edited because I forget how to tag cards. Haha.

If you do run Bloodhunter Bat please remember to indicate that by marking your Cube as "Peasant+".
this got me
For folks that have tried Nuisance Engine in CUbe, what was your experience?
Also, after all the Preacher talk I think I'll dig my old one out and test it in CUbe too.
