These were so much better when this was a forum post with insight and discussion. Discussing two cards per set is hardly enough. Why not spend more time on at least the latest one or two? Plus, this article format is clearly not encouraging conversation, versus the forum threads had pages of responses.
The layout here is absolutely terrible. The bordered tables with default fonts look like they're from 1998 and are unreadable at a glance. Why cram the most pertinent information onto the side of each group? Putting it above or below the table would allow for more horizontal space, which would move the data closer to the column headings and make at least that better. But the information hierarchy here is non-existent.
And why not spell out what each column is describing? "Change since last week" and "Change since launch" would be a huge improvement.

I really hope you're wrong and we do get elves just because you're so unbelievably obnoxious about it.
Also, plural elf is elves. Get it right.
I agree with your first point. I fail to see, though, how printing fetches in MM17 would preclude Wizards from ever printing them again in a standard set or that they don't think they should be standard legal ever again. (This game has had a 25 year lifespan—a lot can still happen.)
How do you figure that?

PM me for inquiries.
I would've prefered Black Lotus, but that's not really an option now, is it?
Yeah, glad we got this started.
"What card can we turn into promo and use this art?"
There she is! Google Reverse Image Search reveals her as Aurra Sing. My Star Wars knowledge is the pits these days.
Yeah, blast from the past, so to speak, seeing your name on that envelope. I guess you decided PT's not such a bad thing after all?
Ondal: That SoFaF is absolutely gorgeous.
Galspanic: I'm jealous of your Star Wars plains. They have a wonderful looseness to them, but perfectly capture light and mood.
Madmanny: Really digging the originality of your work. Not too many attempt what you're doing.
djpattiecake: Well done. Most of the alters that borrow bigup's techniques are clumsy and poorly cut; these are neither. Many of the images line up in a clever way as well.
Then play with old copies. Problem solved.
Yeah, me too. Interesting, flavorful card. Not everything can be played everywhere. Cards restricted to certain areas (and this isn't even that restricted) only opens up design space.
