    Hello guys!

What's our best plan against Death and Taxes, specially the BW Eldrazi and Taxes version?

    Thanks!

I think I will start with the Mono-W list like you said.

EDIT: BTW, who are the best streamers/youtubers to watch in order to learn more about the deck?

    Hello guys!

I've been researching about Death and Taxes for a while and noticed there is a lot of sub-archetypes within D&T.

My first idea was to build the mono-white version, without the eldrazi and stuff, but the variety eludes me.

What are the best sub-archetypes and which one should I try to build?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello guys!

I was considering Settle the Wreckage for our boardwipe slot in SB. What do you guys think?

I know Compass isn't a new tech and never claimed it was - your lists here inspired me to use it, thanks for it! -, but people are not used to them in my meta, so it's pretty unknown tech around here. In fact, I've never seen any other player here using it.

About my mana base, you got a good point and I'll look into it. What do you suggest? It's hard to cut the colorless lands because they are really useful against a couple of matches - Field of Ruin is specially handy in the mirror, destroying opposing Azcanta. Maybe the Hostile Desert can bite the dust this time, never got the chance to use it anyway.

    Hello everyone!

I've playing this deck - the UW variant - for a while and I took it to a PPTQ yesterday, with 49 players. I finished at 14th after losing my win-and-in match in the 6th round (got mana screwed both games, never drew past the fourth land), but I really like this deck.

Desert's Hold is a hidden gem. All my opponents got confused and had to read it everytime it was cast. The same goes for Thaumatic Compass, such a powerful effect once it flipped to Maze of Ith mode.

Gideon of the Trials was also pretty useful, specially when you get to resolve it on third turn. Did his job in stalling the board and soaked up some damage. I'm using two mainboard and thinking about finding a slot for a third copy in sideboard.

One card I want to test is Cataclysmic Gearhulk. What do you guys think about it?

Anyway, here's the list I ran:

I recently cut Lingering Souls a few weeks ago, I loved it for ages but in the current meta it feels clunky and I'd rather have a fog or removal in it's place.
As for Elspeth, I think Godhead of Awe is the best big walker/creature option for this deck at this current moment. I used to run Grave Titan but I very rarely cast him.

Is Godhead really this powerful? I never considered using it, but I think I'll try out once I get a copy to see for myself.

I tried Grave Titan one time, but my meta is full of white decks with access to Path to Exile, hence the choice for Elspeth.

    Hello guys!

What are your opinions about using Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Spellskite in SB?

Elspeth dodges a lot of removal, that's why I'm using her instead of Grave Titan or any other fat creature.
And Spellskite is huge against Infect, but since the deck lost popularity due DS, is it still useful?

ANd I've never tried Lingering Souls, what is the current consensus on this subject?

Has anyone tried Whir of Invention to tutor up Lotus Bloom in instant speed?
Just saw a MTGGoldfish video where Seth faces an Ad Nauseam using it, but it seems clunky.

    Any opinions?

I could see the addition of the Energy package into the first list, but I'm wondering if adding copters is worth it. The copter is another discard outlet, making Tormenting Voice and Lightning Axe less necessary. I haven't gotten to do much playtesting with either list.

Even if you change your list to fit the Copter in, don't dismiss Lightning Axe as a discard outlet only. I consider it as an instant removal that can kill Kalitas, Avacyn, Thought-Knot and other nasty things, with the upside of being a discard outlet.

    Hello friends!

I'm bringing this deck to a small championship today and thinking about using 2x Revolutionary Rebuff in MB. I know it won't counter the dreaded Copter, but this bad Mana Leak impersonator can help us to mantain the board empty and gain us some tempo. I will also use another 2x Unsubstantiate for the counter/bounce as well, since this card always overperformed for me.

Has anyone tested this card and has some insights to share?

Since they've spoiled the one mana minotaur, I've been watching this thread closely.

Will the new minotaur be the Gravecrawler with horns for this deck?
