And though Amonkhet was not as developed, it succeed in making people feel for the world, curious for its history. The last line of the chapter Endure gave me goosebumps.

Heliod behaved very "white" in the story. White is the color of authority and rules, at times to the point of rigidity and tyranny. Heliod considered himself the big daddy of Gods, thus his position is not to be challenged, be it power or knowledge, even if such position was self-imposed by his ego.
Looking at Amonkhet gods after seeing their Theros counterparts, gotta say I much prefer worshiping the Amonkhet denizens, Theros Gods dastardly immaturity serves as good lessons and awful acquaintances, except perhaps Kruphix and Athreos. -

I suggest Contamination after seeing your list because you have high number of mana artifacts to support that strategy. I also noted about the budget restriction, but it seems like a viable upgrade when the deck comes to it.
In one of my successful usage of Contamination, I equip Daxos with Skullslamp and Gift of Immortality then drop Contamination, each turn I recur Daxos to draw cards and quickly found mana rocks I need to maintain that lockdown. Daxos being the underdog tends to deviate attention away from me till it happens. -

When Hostage Taker enters the battlefield, exile target artifact or creature until Hostage Taker leaves the battlefield. You may cast that card for as long as it remains exiled and you may spend mana as though it were mana of any type to cast that spell.

Not just any vampire, Aztec vampires. I can already smell a fracking JoJo reference on the horizon, not to mention we might have "Vampirate" later on. It's time to forsake our humanity!
On a more serious note, I guess any undead/monster related to sacred rituals would be put under white category. The only other white vampire I know was from Odyssey block.
Planeswalker has its own subtype rules, perhaps new Jace's ultimate would put copies of himself into play while negating that PW type.
Oh, true, I might've just been missing the old storyline.

EDIT: Also, holy crap, a new simic merfolk legend (merfolk I think). Size = hand, you have no max hand size, and when it enters play you draw card equals to creatures you control.
Apparently they are bringing back Invasion's "two piles" cards.
Cannot "outright" kill another PW, as in the moment they come into play. The 7 damage requires this Bolas to ult.
Oh yes, I forgot there's also the precon Lili, guess precon PWs are not part of this trend.
He planned to use Amonkhet (and other planes) as a way to get back his god-like power, I presume there's a time restrain on Bola's part and he has no more use of Amonkhet after this.
Why destroy it? Despite Bolas's schematic mind, he is also an egoistic, sadistic dragon, violence is rare AND pleasurable.
This is the first 7+cc PW who "cannot" outright destroy another PW, interesting.

As the trailer shows Hazoret's demise, looks like there will be Last Reckoning for each of the five living God. May they rest in peace, though I doubt they will.
