Can I just repeat that I am a Timmy and I love attacking on turn 1 more than I love big stompy creatures. Please stop telling me what I do and don't like.
Another Timmy chiming in. Timmies also like big and fast. By big I don't just mean big creatures, but also big effects. Things that make a huge impact on the board and look cool doing it. As for fast, of the 3, Timmy is the one that most wants to be Doing Something whenever possible and the faster the better. Yes Darksteel Colossus is a Timmy card, but so is Raging Goblin and Elvish Mystic.
Curse of Plentiful Herds4WW
Enchantment — Aura Curse [R]
Enchant player
Each creature enchanted player controls loses all abilities and is a white Ox named Pillarfield Ox with base power and toughness 2/4. "I liked them better as eldrazi."
—Bruse Tarl, Goma Fada nomad
Spectral Squire1W
Creature - Spirit Soldier [R]
Soulbond (You may pair this creature with another unpaired creature when either enters the battlefield. They remain paired for as long as you control both of them.)
As long as Spectral Squire is paired with another creature, equip abilities that target either of those creatures cost 1 less to activate.
2/2
In hindsight, I played it too safe with that challenge and wound up paying for it. My original design was probably a lot stronger, but it was part green and when Icarii said multicolor cards might not meet the main challenge, I panicked. I wound up overcompensating and ended with a card that wasn't really bad, just bland and unoriginal. Lesson learned for next month.
(For some reason I instantly thought the character was female, I wonder what that says about me.)
That's actually what I was going for. The original idea I had was to depict the character I made for June's MCC during her fall from grace. I almost added her name, but didn't think it was worth the extra crowding in the text box.
Johnny (.25/1) likes the "gotcha" aspect of the card but curses under his breath that the card says "creature card name".
I originally wanted it to be able to hit tokens (which would have given it more utility than just a worse Nevermore) but black-border rules don't quite work that way and it didn't "feel" like a silver-border card.
Untamed Sovereign4WWW
Creature - Beast [R]
Vigilance
Other untapped creatures you control have indestructible.
Whenever Untamed Sovereign deals combat damage to a player, untap all other creatures you control. Garadon might yet break, but it will never bow.
5/7
Broken Faith1BB
Enchantment [R]
When Broken Faith enters the battlefield, choose a creature card name.
Creatures with the chosen name enter the battlefield under your control. “All my life I’ve tried to prove myself worthy of your respect. Now I wonder if you were ever worthy of mine.”
11 year old me thought this card was too good. Now with 20 more years of experience I realize this card is awful in every respect.
That's exactly why Wizards keeps printing terrible life gain cards like this. Every learning curve needs some baby steps, and one of those steps is learning that the only life point that matters is the last. Even if you have to learn that the hard way.
Gnome Alone2RW
Creature - Gnome Rigger [R]
Whenever one or more creatures attack you or a planeswalker you control, Gnome Alone assembles a contraption. RW, Sacrifice an artifact: Gnome Alone deals 1 damage to each attacking creature. Home is where the gnome is. And he's going to defend it.
3/4
You All Meet at an Inn1UR
Enchantment [M]
As You All Meet at an Inn enters the battlefield, each player chooses Fighter, Mage or Thief.
Attacking creatures a Fighter controls get +2/+0.
Instant and sorcery spells a Mage casts cost 1 less to cast.
At the beginning of a Thief's draw step, that player draws an additional card, then discards a card.
Kovan, Ingenious Blacksmith1UR
Legendary Creature — Human Artificer (R)
Haste
Other Artificer creatures you control get +1/+1.
Whenever Kovan, Ingenious Blacksmith deals combat damage to a player, you may tap or untap target artifact. “I’ve been a master blacksmith for most of my life. Now my work inspires a whole new generation of artificers.”
2/3
Kovan’s Mastery2U
Legendary Enchantment (M)
When Kovan’s Mastery enters the battlefield, create a legendary artifact token named Kovan’s Tome with “Artifact spells you cast cost 1 less to cast.”
Tap an untapped artifact you control: Add C to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to cast artifact spells or activate abilities of artifacts. “When I find myself stuck, I always turn to master Kovan’s books. They are the best source of inspiration.”
—Neskan, young artificer
Design - (2/3) Appeal: Timmy doesn't care. Spike is a little interested. Johnny can definitely do something with this. (1.5/3) Elegance: Wordy, and there's a lot of moving parts to this.
Development - (3/3) Viability: Definitely blue, definitely mythic. (2/3) Balance: It's not broken on its own, but it reduces the cost of artifacts twice over and historically that's a one way ticket to ba-roken town. Balanced a bit by legendary.
Creativity - (2.5/3) Uniqueness: The parts of this card have all been done sepearately, but they go together really well and make a whole that's something new. (3/3) Flavor: Full marks here.
Polish - (3/3) Quality: No problems. (2/2) *Main Challenge: Check. (2/2) Subchallenges: And double check.
Total: 21/25

Andari, Venerable Captain1WW
Legendary Creature — Human Soldier (R)
First strike
Whenever a Human you control attacks, create a 1/1 white Spirit creature token with flying that is tapped and attacking. Exile that token at end of combat. "Fear not my brothers, for we do not fight alone, but with generations of our forefathers by our sides."
3/2[/quote]
Memories of AndariWU
Legendary Enchantment (M) 3WU, Exile a creature card from your graveyard: Create a legendary white Spirit creature token that's a copy of the exiled card, except its name is Captain Andari, and it's legendary in addition to its other types. After his death, legends of Captain Andari grew until it seemed as though he were capable of almost any feat.
Design - (2/3) Appeal: This isn't really Timmy's cup of tea, but Johnny and Spike are both interested. (3/3) Elegance: Pretty simple.
Development - (2/3) Viability: That's a white rare all right. I'm not sure it needed to be blue or mythic, though. (2/3) Balance: Might actually be a little underpowered, but could be broken too. Looks like a card that needs extensive playtesting to be sure.
Creativity - (1.5/3) Uniqueness: Very similar to Séance. (3/3) Flavor: I love the flavor on this one.
Polish - (2/3) Quality: Don't need to specify twice that it's legendary (-1). (2/2) *Main Challenge: Yep. (2/2) Subchallenges: Yes to both.

Legendary Artifact - Equipment {M}
Creatures you control have exalted. (If a creature has multiple instances of exalted, each triggers separately.)
Equipped creature has flying and vigilance, and is an Angel in addition to its other types.
As long as equipped creature is attacking alone, it has trample, indestructible, and can't be blocked by more than one creature.

Unifying Metasigil3GW
Legendary Enchantment {R}
When Unifying Metasigil enters the battlefield, create a legendary 4/4 green and white Angel creature token with flying, vigilance, and exalted named Dailana, Asura of Unity.
If you or a permanent you control would be dealt damage, instead you may divide that damage as you choose among you and any number of permanents with exalted you control.
Design - (3/3) Appeal: All 3 psychographics are at least interested. (0/3) Elegance: First of all, every card with exalted to date includes the reminder text. Second this is wordy as all get out. Thirdly this has a ton of board complexity and makes combat math a nightmare. Fourthly, the wording implies that I can assign damage to noncreature permanents; as far as i know there's no way to give a planeswalker Exalted without also making it a creature.
Development - (2/3) Viability: Doesn't need green, and probably should have been mythic. (3/3) Balance: Balance looks fine, but it could easily backfire if you don't have enough creatures with Exalted.
Creativity - (2/3) Uniqueness:Pariah turned up to 11, but otherwise unique. (3/3) Flavor: Very Bant.
Polish - (3/3) Quality: I see no problems. (2/2) *Main Challenge: Good. (2/2) Subchallenges: Both good.
