Silumgar's Assassin
1B
Creature - Human Assassin
Creatures with power greater than Silumgar's Assassin's power can't block it.
Megamorph 2B (You may cast this card face down as a 2/2 creature for 3. Turn it face up at any time for its megamorph cost and put a +1/+1 counter on it.)
When Silumgar's Assassin is turned face up, destroy target creature with power 3 or less an opponent controls.
Between this and stratus dancer, I am tempted to add a morph package again. hoping for a solid playable red morph in this set...
I have been running it for a few months in a powered 450. It has seen a bit of play, but mostly from the sideboard against combo, ramp and reanimator decks relying heavily on etb effects.
This is a bolt to the face or card advantage in an aggro deck, all on an indestructible body for 3cc. It is not amazing, but I am willing to give it the 4th spot in BW for a few week test run. Worst case,my group hates it because it is as bad as wtwlf123 suggests.
I see this as a targeted, indestructible sulfuric vortex that only costs one extra mana. Just because there are a few cards in the cube that can play around it by generating a creature every turn doesn't invalidate it. At it's worst, Mogis completely blanks a bitter blossom. The possibility of it being a creature is just unexpected gravy, and is not worth focusing on. I am at least trying him out in my 450. For now, Redcap out, Mogis in.
