I just started playing magic again after taking a break for a while. Last time I played standard, I played the turbo-fog Maze's End deck. I was wondering if there was a deck currently that had some sort of goofy way to win or a funny strategy in the same vein as Maze's End?
    What's the dumbest-strategy-that-works right now?

    Also
It's not about the body, but about the clothes - and she is clearly dressing down from your example. Did Nissa switch tribes?

I'm sorry, do you own one outfit? I for one wear different clothes depending on the weather or my mood or whatever. Maybe Nissa feels more confident when she wears her "new" outfit. Maybe it's just cold out on the day she groundswelled. Maybe belonging to a tribe of indigenous people doesn't automatically pigeonhole you to wearing a single "traditional" outfit.

Yo, Kelly. I'm not too deep into Liliana's background, but it seems like she easily could be gettin it on with ladies all the time. Like, just because there isn't a story that explicitly references that, doesn't mean that it doesn't or couldn't happen. I'm sure she's done lots of stuff that hasn't been specifically addressed.
On Nissa: Yes she is clearly designed with a standard of Western beauty in mind, I hadn't really thought about how messed up that is. Thanks for pointing that out. Although that could easily be justified because no one is marketing MtG to indigenous tribes. i.e. Western standard of beauty for an audience with a Western standard of beauty.

    But far more importantly:
I would like a reprint of LotV. It's not a particularly overpowered card in standard. It's really strong with Waste Not and Thoughtseize and co. but like, would it really warp the format at all? Blue devotion's "god-draw" was just as good, and that deck isn't "overpowered" at all.

I have a Nin, the Pain Artist deck that for a long time had a real Force of Will, a proxied Counterflux, but didn't take the time to get or proxy Pact of Negation...

I'm running Varolz the Scar-Striped, actually. The mana for Jarad is too intense, especially with all nonbasics, and I prefer to have the versatility of Varolz for scavenging onto Mycoloth, Triskelion, or himself.

I'm not adding red at the moment. If I was making a new deck, I'd just build the normal 5 color hermit druid. Just trying to make a card that is pretty good better in my current deck.

Bloodrite Invoker seems the best in this case.
The main issue I have right now, is that without Hermit Druid to combo out and win, Bloodrite Invoker seems like a dead card. It's good for now, but does anyone know of something with a little more use outside of the combo?
I was looking on gatherer, and Jarad Golgari Lich Lord seemed awesome until I remembered that the only forests/swamps I could run would be Bayou/Overgrown Tomb/Shadowmoor cycle/Dryad Arbor... Whoops.

Excellent plan for 1v1. Probably worth running anyways, but I'm looking for a way to kill a table of players.

Hey so, I know you can do that Hermit Druid combo in 5-color or BUG decks, but I was wondering if there were a way to abuse milling your entire deck without U in your deck.
All I've figured so far is that you still have access to Flashback cards and Dread Return.
I currently run a Triskelion/Mikaeus combo, but Dread Return only grabs one of these pieces, obviously, so that might not be the right way to go for the Druid win.
    Thanks for the help.
