I don't see any future variants of Modern Masters including fetchlands of significant value due to the nature of the set type; Modern Masters was designed to be drafted.

The reprinting of fetchlands will happen. The question is when, how, and which ones. I honestly think Onslaught fetchlands should be reprinted. Printing Onslaught fetchlands will not rapidly decrease the ones currently floating around in the secondary market, due to the old card frame, furthermore it will decrease Zendikar fetchland values slowly.

WOTC has said they will print cards that support Modern, this does not necessarily mean they will be reprints.

WOTC is not responsible for the secondary market, but they have to acknowledge that MTG is collectible, as they did with implementing the Reserved List.

Speculators majorly get hurt by reprints venders such as SCG and ChannelFireball necessarily do not.

On a side note: I want fetchlands to be reprinted even if the few that I have lose significant value.

The price of Zendikar fetchlands have ridiculously increased in value throughout the month and honestly I see no stop to it.

I don't see any indication of Onsalught or Zendikar fetchlands being reprinted within the next two blocks. I don't see them being reintroduced to Standard any time soon and if they are I see WOTC reprinting Onslaught fetchlands.

The problem with fetchlands are the players who are willing to buy them at ridiculous prices. This gives potential sellers of fetchlands the okay at pricing their fetchlands at the current highest price. This potentially makes it harder for WOTC to reprint fetchlands. Why? It will make the player who just bought one or two playsets of fetchlands unhappy. How will it make them unhappy? Well, they just bought fetchlands at $90 through $100 each and then hears fetchlands are being reprinted within the next two blocks. The player realizes they just lost a few hundred dollars ,and people do not like to lose money.

With the increase of new Modern players the scene mentioned beforehand will be probably effect many players.
