I like Freyalise. Tick up with a druid a turn is a good ability, and an underrated -2 as well. Ultimate isn't great but it's easy to get.

    Freyalise is not Modern legal.

I think he was responding to the EDH commander options.

With the current meta I'm pretty sure Silhanna Ledgewalker is better than Kor Spiritdancer

I played this at my 29 player FNM. It was 5 rounds.

Round 1 vs. Abzan Liege. This guy has a really good list with no mana dorks, but more disruption. It actually does as well in the matchups that it already does and beats Twin with 3 Path to Exile, good pressure, and 4 Abrupt Decay. I overrun him with Ethereal Armors on a Bogle and then I show him Spirit Mantle. He gets me in the next game with 2 Engineered Explosives and a slow hand for each of us. In the final game, he keeps a 1 land hand with Engineered Explosives. He gets my creature, but I had the nuts with Bogle with Umbra, Unflinching Courage, and Daybreak Coronet, so the Umbra only falls off on EE for 1. He has another Engineered Explosives, but his 3rd land (on turn 4) came into play tapped. Stirring Wildwood. Now it turns out that I would have still won because I had a backup Bogle and had 2 Ethereal Armor for my next 2 draws, but who would have known? 2-1.

Round 2 vs. Grixis Delver. He beats me in the first game with Gurmag Angler on turn 3 after turn 1 Delver is racing my Bogle. No lifelink means game. In the next game, he draws 3 Gitaxian Probe and he can't overcome the race because I get a 2 turn clock. In the final game, I just overcome a flipped Delver and Gurmag Angler and get a big Bogle, chump block with Kor Spiritdancer in case, and survive at 2 life. This should be an easy matchup, but I drew exactly 0 lifelink cards. But luckily for me, I drew Spirit Mantles and Rancors. Smile 2-1.

Round 3 vs. Storm. Honestly this matchup seems terrible. In the first game, he got out 2 Pyromancer Ascension with 1 counter on each, but honestly didn't have much else. I overran him with a big Kor Spiritdancer that had a quick clock. I side in Gaddock Teeg for Empty the Warrens and Past in Flames. I side in 3 Nature's Claim for Pyromancer Ascension. I side in 2 Rest in Peace for Past in Flames. I mull to a weak Dryad Arbor hand, but topdeck Gaddock Teeg. I stuff 2 Umbras on Teeg and ride him and Dryad Arbor to a pretty quick clock. He had an Electromancer, which I Path to Exiled on my turn. I was scared about something odd like Negate into Ritual, Ritual, Ritual on his turn, so I didn't try to make the land come into play tapped. He doesn't have much and scoops. He may have been able to do something. I don't know. He was borrowing the deck, but he did pretty good because he was at least 2-0 for a while. 2-0.

Round 4 vs. Infect. I honestly don't have anything for them and this was the first time that I ever played against Infect with Bogles. In the first game, he gets me with Inkmoth Nexus and double Vines of Vastwood, the 2nd of which he played in case I wouldn't die to 1. He put some Infect on me and Path to Exile would have won it, but he survived a turn short of lethal. I think it was turn 4 on the play for him. In the next game, he blocks my Bogle with his Glistener Elf and did Mutagenic Growth. This was odd, but after I Path to Exile the Elf, he drops Blighted Agent. He gets there with the Blighted Agents. Pendelhaven into Noble Hierarch in both games put me in a slight disadvantage. I was 2 life short of killing him in the last game and he asked me if he used Spellskite's ability to "steal" Daybreak Coronet, what would happen? I told him that he could pay the 2 life, but he wouldn't end up getting the Coronet on his Skite. He would have asked the Judge anyway and it was not Competitive REL, so I didn't mind telling him. I just wish he made the mistake because he was at 2 life when he swung for lethal. I even sided in Gaddock Teeg; why you ask? For Become Immense, which someone told me he JUST lost to in the previous round. I don't have anything for this matchup specifically and I don't mind with the percentage of it being so low. 0-2.

Round 5 vs. Burn. It's been a long time since I played vs. Burn. My opening hand only had Kor Spiritdancer, so 1 Searing Blaze beats me. I keep a 1 land hand and keep putting Spider Umbra on Bogle to block multiple Goblin Guides. He does lethal when I suit up Daybreak Coronet at 4 life with Eidolon of the Great Revel out. I knew he had something, but I didn't really have a choice. Game 2, I do turn 0 Leyline of Sanctity. He did a Deflecting Palm on my 5/5 Bogle to keep me from gaining life, but the next turn, I swung again and he scooped. In the final game, I suit up a Bogle quickly and he does Destructive Revelry on my Ethereal Armor. I draw a bunch of Rancor and some Umbras and suit up while he just does Lightning Bolts. He draws Monastery Swiftspear and Goblin Guide late, but he knocks me to 4 life when I am about to take combat damage. Before damage, I do Nature's Claim on my own Rancor after chumping the Swiftspear with Kor Spiritdancer. I am at 1 life after he does Skullcrack, but I show him the Daybreak Coronet. He scoops, but something odd happened. It turned out that I would knock him to 1 life with me at 11 life. His next card was Deflecting Palm and he would have won with that and burn for lethal. Crazy game. 2-1.

I finish 4-1 at 3rd place since the top 2 split at 4-0-1.

Thanks for the results. Infect is always a rough matchup. Electromancer is definitely dangerous, but you can always path it on his upkeep phase to prevent the land usage.

Just thought up a 5 color deck I'll try this weekend. Just tries to maximize efficient 1CMC enchantments that have some built-in evasion with assault strobe for consistent T3 or T4 wins. I think Bogles is the perfect deck to utilize Gemstone Mine and Forbidden Orchard creating colorless tokens doesnt matter with Predator's Gambit and/or Aqueous Form (plus Rancor and Deviant Glee have Trample). It will lose all day to Infect and Jund, but lets face it, so does the GW version and those decks aren't very big right now. I think it would still crush Delver/Burn but gives a slightly better matchup vs Combo and Affinity by outracing it. Any feedback would be great, and I'm thinking about replacing Aqueous Form with Boros Charm mainboard - thoughts?

I like the idea of acquisition form. I'll have to try it out

Thanks everyone! Some good feedback. Surprisingly I came in 3rd at FNM. So I'll add 4x unflinching courage, 4x Skylasher, 3x witchstalker, and 4x alpha authority to my sideboard I think. Selesnya charm was a beast for me as it could either give me a creature if I didn't have any, give me trample, or remove a fatty.
