in order to splash golari charm you need to change the land base, and if youre doing that, you have to go jund to make it worth it and keep and couple charms main board and a couple sideboard. are you playing fnm or what?
yes, there definitely is. my friend runs a b/g dredge deck with vengevine, gravecrawler, bloodghast vampire, etc. i can try to recall the list if you'd like. the deck was pretty irritating to play against, and it can easily be shutdown by graveyard hate, but other than that, it was a pretty cool deck. however, i can not say that it would be super good against common t1 legacy decks.
yeah, there's no way anyone in their right mind would let someone take a four grand deck "out for a spin" for a "small fee". if that is the case just play what ever deck you want man, you don't have to be a doucher and rent out the most expensive cards you can, just because you can.
The good new is that your deck is standard legal. On the other hand, your deck needs more lands, 22-23 is a good number. Your deck seems underwhelming to me as a whole. I wouldn't expect too much out of it, but maybe you can pull a win or two.
As long as you're not bending the ***** out of your cards, I don't see the reason to double-sleeve up. I guess it's also worth mentioning that I don't play with anything totally expensive, but even if I did have an expensive deck, I don't know if I would double-sleeve it.
EDIT: Nevermind, I searched up double-sleeving, and it's not as excessive as I thought it would be. So yeah sure, I would start double sleeving cards I cared for, including expensive ones that aren't being played.
Yeah, that's what's gonna suck about the pre-release... you're getting Theros packs.. leaves the door open for cheaters, it's pretty stupid how they're doing that.
Man, I highly suggest putting in 4 Phalanx Leader and Fabled Hero.
They can win games in one swing sometimes combined with a Dauntless Onslaught + Brave the Elements for unblock-able. It's tight man, trust me. I can post a sample deck list if you want. And if you play MTGO, you can put it together for 3 or 4 tickets.
