Just a quick thought.

I know that mono-green is the goal, but if there is anything mono-green does is it wants to overcommit to the board. This leaves it open to blow outs from Supreme Verdict/Anger/etc. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to run Overgrown Tombs and maybe Golgari Guildgates so you can run Golgari Charm MB. It's the best trick against mass removal and can turn a big aggro battle from loss to win as well.

As I was reading over the lists, it came to mind as the best way to shore up the decks largest weakness so I thought I would share. Gj with the primer!

Thanks foe advice, I was starting to think the same thing. However there's enough card draw, and digging available right now, to keep it mono green. So there's a quick way to recover from boardwipe, not to mention there's a HIGH chance that 3-5 creatures will still be sitting there after the Supreme Verdict. (Boon Satyr, experiment one, Nylea, god of the hunt,) I'm pretty confident my friend. If Mono green doesn't work out, Splashing black is the first idea in mind.

    Mono Green Primer

This is my FIRST POST!!!! (To go towards my post count) So First primer also.

I understand how much better other cards are to use and such. I'm not just posting this because I miss Mono Green in an Earlier format, I'm posting this because I feel Mono Green DOES stand a chance in the current meta. There are a few cards that make this key.

Reasons Mono Green IS still a good deck type.

    The Ramp

    Card Draw

    BIG Creatures

    Destroy All Creatures? LOL

    Counter What?

What creatures are best in a Mono Green Based Deck?

    Good Creatures for Mono Green:

Elvish Mystic: Great 1 drop that will provide an extra mana quickly.
Experiment One: In Mono Green he will Evolve QUICKLY and survive Board Wipe over and over.
Kalonian Tusker: Not only is it a 3/3 for 2 mana, its green mana. EASY to play turn 2.
Scavenging Ooze: A 2 drop that will continue to grow through the game, especially against heavy aggo decks. If your not running and graveyard recursion, your creatures aren't helping YOU any in there. Knock them out to pump up the Ooze.
Sylvan Cryatid: More mana ramp, a Hexproof 0/3 for 2. Good early blocker, and mana source.
Voyaging Satyr: 2 drop that untaps Target Land. Meaning you can untap your Nykthos, and tap again to maximize your mana, early in the game. Mono green is a lot of devotion.
Boon Satyr: A 3 drop 4/2, with Flash for the sneak attack style of play. However, in a Mono Green deck, I expect mana will be in high supply and quickly generated. Meaning Bestow him against control decks. So when the creature he's attached to dies, he falls off ready to go.
Reverent Hunter: He is a 3 drop, that gets a +1/+1 COunter equal to your devotion to green. (In Mono green lets agree it should be A LOT.)

This is as far as I am getting on this post tonight. (Insert personal life drama you could care less to hear.) Let me know opinions on what I've typed up so far. List things I may have missed, or show your support for MONO GREEN!!!! Ramp, aggro, midrange, SO MANY CHOICES!!!!!

Thanks for the replies, and detail into answers. In another 6 days and some change, (Auctions ending) I will know what is still able to be sold on here, and what is not. Other than that, you'll see me poking around random forums. Have lots of good games in the future guys.

Hey guys, my signature basically explains it all, I lost more than 100,000$ worth of cards (my Team House Dimir) suffered but now I'm back and trying to rebuild.

I am MAINLY here for the sales lot. I need to generate revenue to rebuild some decks to start playing again. I'm not telling you my life story but money isn't falling from my 'holes' anymore.

I read the rules for the forum first (must be a rarity these days) and want to verify a few things before I organize a post for the sales lot.

Just correct me of wrong, thanks for reading!

    1. Do NOT do eBay links

    2. Make sure PMs regarding transactions (agreed and confirmed total, items, and addresses are correct and documented within the PMs)

    3. When I post an items list, if the item is in fact on my eBay that I'm trying to sell, just put something like (unavailable, listed off-site, do not PM for link)

    4. Include video if showing a collection as kind of an intro to my sales thread

    5. Start with items listed at full value that I want, not crazy discounted, don't need to worm my way into a good 'iTrader' rating.

    6. Transactions of over 100$ should have a moderator brought in to oversee it.

    7. Only list the item if it's in your possession, no repacks, no lameness

    8. Card Lots (giant repacks) Need their FULL inventory noted in detail so it's not a Repack.

    9. Can I hold 'auctions' at all?

    10. Can I link my YouTube and sales thread in my signature?

Thanks again for reading, let me know if I got anything wrong.

See you in the forums and sales!
