I'd check out those replays if you post them. Better yet, stream your matches and record them. If you feel like you're not playing optimally, maybe talking out/explaining your decisions will help you make better ones, or at least understand why you're making the misplays you suspect you are. The Wall + Cataracts thing is hilarious. No Aviary Mechanic to target your wall and make the land a 6/6? Are you missing the additional Westvalale Abbeys?

Congratulations. Were there cards that stood out in particular matchups that you can share?

I'm new to the deck, but have tried two Hazoret in the main and it feels pretty good after a handful of games. Beats down and blocks well. I put Fevered Visions in the side. Tried Drake Haven a bit and it felt low-impact. Just seems like too often you're sacrificing an equally good alternate play to make the Drake. Take it with a grain of salt though...just playing against the same midrange deck a bunch of times...Not real testing.

Really wish someone was streaming with Esper Shadow or posting vids. Seems like the deck would have gained enough traction by now for someone to be doing it. I don't have a lot of time to play, so seeing someone else talk through the various matchups would be super helpful. Anyone here stream?

Anguished Unmaking seems like a great one-of in the sideboard. Fills the role of a Disenchant and is our catch-all a la Maelstrom Pulse?

When you say held back as tricks, you mean by boosting your DS at instant speed?

Any updates from this group? Just started playIng the deck and enjoying it. Would love to hear how others after doing with it and any tweaks that folks have made.

I've been doing full spirits package as before, with Reflector Mages, 3 Avacyn, and am adding 3 Rashmi. Because we play on our turn and the opponents, she'all achieve ridiculous card advantage if not killed right away. It feels unfair when you're drawing two cards on your turn and one on theirs. Essence Flux makes this extra likely to happen because it's so cheap. I keep going away from Flux, and every time I come back to it, I'm amazed at how good it is. With Reflector Mage, Rattlechains and Nebelgast, Flux is really all the control you need.

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned using Distended Mindbender from the new set. With a Temple out, you can T2 Matter Reshaper or Eternal Scourge, sac either for value on T3 (so to speak) and T4 cast this 5/5 guy w/ a double-dip into opponent's hand. Seems good...what am I missing? Does that just get too far away from the processor theme of the deck? I guess you'd have to cut Lingering Souls (which would hurt) and Blight Herder to make it all work.

Thanks for the great primer deaddrift, and to everyone who continues to keep this thread alive. I've been lurking, and enjoy playing with the deck. Switched from Eldrazi D&T because this feels like more my play style. I don't get to practice modern much, so keeping up with content like this thread is my primary way of learning about the deck and how it interacts with other popular archetypes. Definitely wish there were more folks out there playing processors...I'd love to watch someone do a stream. Hint, hint.

Kamahi....I think you're wondering about the creation of Wastes mana right? Cavern of Souls,Llanowar Wastes, and Nykthos all create colorless mana. So does Boreal Druid. Wastes mana can be paid with any colorless mana source (so 9 here), then the generic mana can be paid with any color source.
