Sorry. I was going on of the decklist that placed 8-5 at the SCG Standard Open in Dallas. The deck creator Kinny Fain has Master Biomancer and Plummets in the sideboard as well as a single Simic Charm. I'd link the list but I'm posting from my cell

The green splash is for Master Biomancer and Plummets on the sideboard for mirror

Might as well play Trostani's Judgment, then. Costs 1 more, but it's an instant and occasionally populates one of the several ways you can make tokens.

Or, since they're not usually indestructible, perhaps Divine Verdict.

I have considered Devine Verdict. I will test that next. I started with Edicts because of the added versatility of being able to take out Whips, Underworld Connections, Spears and Detention Spheres

I don't think a 5-CMC sorcery is what you want to be playing. Why not just play Chained to the Rocks?

I play both. I had a couple unfortunate incidents with Ratchet Bomb and Chained that made me want to experiment with another way to deal with fat creatures. Although it is expensive, it also exiles. I just started playing with 4 chained and 2 edicts.

In retrospect, I have been siding out Ash Zealots for quite a few matches, so I switched to Weirds for more of a control approach. I am happy to see people having success without a two-drop creature. I am going to try that.

I also have been experimenting with switching the Helix for Angelic Edicts. I am missing the life gain, but they really help against mono black and r/g monsters. Has anyone else messed around with Edicts?

I play Big Boros online as well and have experienced similar swings. I dominate white weenie, RDW, black devo and do fairly well against blue devo, but I get killed by Obzedat and control I can't jump on early. Green Devo is a coinflip. The deck is a lot of fun, but it can get really frustrating when all I see are the poor matchups.

Once Thassa comes out, your opponent will just make the biggest creatures unblockable. Mistcutters are still out best option against blue devotion. They can't be targetted or chump blocked except by Mutavault. It may make sense to start maindecking a couple Witchstalkers to help keep the pressure on. With all of the removal out there, they aren't that bad to have anyway. Maybe run a third Polukranos instead of the 2/2 split with Deadbridge Goliath. Anything to slow down the onslaught before the Mistcutters come out. Even then, we have Cyclonic Rift to worry about. Blue devotion is a really tough matchup

I'd like to see this have more success before jumping on the bandwagon. The decklist looks cool, but it has a few holes. If anyone else was playing and/or can remember back this far, turbo-stasis took on an event by storm and then disappeared. There is a great advantage to no one seeing a deck coming, but that advantage ends once the list is posted on the internet. On that note, it does look cool, and I would love to see a new archetype gain some relevance. I hope it has legs

Edit* Also interested on how Mana Bloom is used. Drop early? or Drop Mid/Late?

Probably both. It has pretty ridiculous synergy with Primeval Bounty

I would strongly consider Frontline Medic instead of Boros Reckoner. It is another 3/3 for three that will allow you to push damage regardless of what your opponent has on the board for defense and the sac ability will help control decks from casting Sphinx's Revelation to help find that sweep. You could also play a third Mutavault with his casting cost. I would also suggest Judge's Familiar. A 1/1 flier for W that has a sac ability that can delay Anger of the Gods or Supreme Verdict by a turn if your opponent has it early on. It can also be a magnet for early removal over one of you 2/1 or 2/2s because of it's sac ability

Question: considering 4 reapers, would Underworld Connections be more beneficial than Read the Bones?

The problem I have with the bow is that it's a slow card. Barring the synergy with Polukranos, you won't get a big impact on your board position when you play it at first.

Almost everything should already die when it blocks (on turn 4-6 they'll need to block your big baddies if they want some HP left). Getting a counter to win a fight is pricey at 5 mana. Killing a flyer that can block you might come handy but again it's quite pricey.

Of course, it helps a lot with devotion and getting an effect every turn gets good fast. In this aggro variant I'd like better to play a Renagade Krasis for 3 mana or Arbor/Kalonian for 5. It's a solid card in more midrange variants though.

The interaction with Nylea is very good too. Mistcutter becomes unstoppable. It suffers the same problem as the Polukranos combo though, both are legendary and you can't count too much on it.

Also, what's great about running no spells is that Duress doesn't affect you.

I concur. The problem decks I have been running into are RDW, white weenie/Boris weenie and control decks. Deathtouch does little to nothing in those matchups. Deathtouch has no power when they are not blocking or have nothing to block with. The activated abilities are not enough to change the balance of the game. Another creature is better.

I would take Gyre Sage over BTE or the sliver for this list.

Yep. I have that down to test as well. With two Nykthos, four Reverent Hunter and three Nylea Gods, I need to figure out if the early higher devotion is more important than potential mana the sages can produce and the size they can potentially get. Since green has few removal options, Nylea's Disciple may be needed on the sideboard again RDW, white weenie, Boros weenie or mirror. That would give an edge to the emissaries

Here is my take... if you are going to be stompy, be stompy. As great as Sylvan Caryatid is, it cannot attack. You need to be able to apply pressure right off the bat while you gather your resources to cast the larger creatures. Once Nylea, God of the Hunt is in play, your smaller creatures become much more threatening. Boon Satyr is very versatile for this as well. It can serve as your 3 drop or be saved as a creature aura for one of your early drops. I played around with Bow of Nylea and just don't like it. I found I would rather have another creature, especially against high removal decks. Also, once Nylea, God of the Hunt is on the board, the deathtouch isn't necessary. The Bow's abilities are versatile, but all mediocre. Maybe it is a good sideboard card.

I am also shocked that your decklist does not have Reverent Hunter. Arbor Colossus is nice and has the best bang for its casting cost on its face value, but Reverent Hunter has incredible potential while costing less... and it has synergy with Kalonian Hydra.

Here is the deck I've been playtesting

I have had good success in limited playtesting, but I am not sold on the slivers yet, and I would like a bit more of a mana ramp. I have seen a couple decklists that have Burning-Tree Emissary, but there are not many cards to pair with them on a 2 drop. They have more synergy with Nykthos and Reverent Hunter though. I might go with 20 Forest and 3 Emissaries instead of the slivers and see how that goes.
