I think there is a home to be made for her, giving her 0 can flip a creature or land and put it on the battlefield if the CMC is lower than her loyalty. Her ult isn't impossible to reach, but given this is modern, not too easily.

I wouldn't mind brewing to see if she is feasible, but there is no shell she can go in yet. Maybe Bant Eldrazi, but it's not a deck I'm familiar with.

35 tickets for Boggles... Man the more and more I become familiar with mtgo the more it seems it's the way to go for budget MTG!

Funny enough though, could swap Natural State with Fragmentize if you wanted the white mana version... But onto more serious suggestions.

In the enchantments package how many of those would you consider flex slots? I wonder as I've been playing a pauper UW enchantments deck on mtgo and been playing it with Hopeful Eidolon and Obserbvant Alseid. Both up the count of enchantments, can be used as enchantments or creatures, and if used as enchantments fall off and become creatures.

The question is where would they go if they replaced something?

Another I'd suggest is Journey to Nowhere for problem creatures that Celestial Flare might miss. Or Oblivion Ring for anything non-land... Almost anything. Still Flare might be the better choice for some matches.

...I think I had one more suggestion, but got lost in thought...

Edit: Ah yes! I remember, Auramancer as another suggestion for its ability to return any enchantment from your graveyard to your hand.

And another note while some of these might not work with each other (Ground Seal with Auramancer as an example), I feel it does give us some ideas for options in a build and metagaming.

Did a little play testing on MTGO last night, taking on a few players as I tune this deck (note: decklist above is the current version *once deck tags are fixed*, not exactly the version that face the following.) Write ups to come.

Match #1 (Sultai Tron): (0-1, opponent conceded due to time)

    Match #2 (Grixis Midragne): (1-2)

    Match #3 (Dimir Eldrazi): (0-2)

Match #4 (Selesnya Weenie): (1-0, experienced internet trouble midmatch)

    Match #5 (Green Stompy): (2-0)

    ----------
Notes: Deck felt like it was light on threats, but when the threats were there felt solid. Ethereal Armor is a real bomb, capable of turning a creature into a +10/+10 first striking threat with all the enchantments on the board!

Still will be tuning and seeing if there are ways to improve.

I agree with the keep paper and Mtgo pauper sections seperate, if only for the sake of rarity confusion and playable cards.

And while I can see using the Legacy subforum format of Established (competitively viable) and Developing (unproven decks) would think the latter could be named Deck Creation, making it easy for new users.

...Also, no budget subforum! Would almost be trolling to include that in the budget format of pauper!

    WIP

Currently working on an aura based deck using Reality Acid and cards that synergism around and an enchantment base. Previous versions I have seen on mtg top 8 work around Ghostly Flicker to generate advantage, but this version I am testing is going without the said card.

    Decklist:

    Interactions:

Floodtide Serpent a beat stick in blue, but with a "drawback" this deck uses to its full advantage, bouncing enchantments. Whether returning Reality Acid for its destructive potential, or another enchantment to move to their biggest beater this is our top end.

Hopeful Eidolon both a creature and an enchantment, can be used to enhance a creature on the battlefield, become an aura or up the enchantment count for one card below.

Ethereal Armor with as many enchantments as this deck runs, this can add some serious pump to any creature in this deck.

Auramancer, graveyard recursion for auras, enough said.

You know this maybe off topic for the modern meta/banlist topic, but it's strange to me hearing about Energy talked about as one deck, when there are actually two or three (Temur being the obvious front runner). But this would be an argument arguing whether to call Jund and Junk the same deck in modern based on the same core (and actually this would be a lot closer to the same deck!).

Not sure how this impacts modern, other than the way they are thinking of better answers.

Seems like each top 8 is bringing new surprises. Have to admit, my prediction of a blue downtrend (counterspell specifically) is way off, but kind of laughing about the dredge mirror for the finish of the one. Still those were the only copies in the top 32, so those two pilots made a good call.

Looking at Beck // Call (unsure if I tagged this right), I'm actually surprised people haven't tried to break it. Though like the rise of Amulet Titan, which had all it's pieces in modern before people put the brew together, maybe the deck hasn't been built yet.

Still we can't talk bans on what might be, with no evidence. Glimpse at least has some evidence and if people are afraid of Treasure Cruise in the format, this has more potential.

Just making a note on the humans lists, two were Aether vial lists, one CoCo, and one actually went without either...

I think what the poster is going on with Humans getting close to a ban is the results of that top 32 a couple of posts up. 4 decks in the top 8, which if previous ban announcements are anything to go off of, are a red flag. One thing they pointed towards in the twin ban was three different versions of the deck, TC nearly all delver decks with the offending card, and if we look probably can see more cases where this was a warning sign. Still there isn't a clear ban criteria it's breaking yet either.

On a sidenote, dredge taking the win this round.

Still have to wait and see if that would be the case or even if a ban will come.

The PT will tell us if it will be banned. I'm guessing 2 copies in the T8 or if Storm wins, it will be banned in some fashion.
Decks have been in the top 8 with 2 decks and have been fine. Probably looking for 3 or more to expect a ban.

As far as what to ban from Storm if it came to it (let's face it, flags keep popping up) I'd pick Manamorphose. It does a lot of work for this deck, mana fixing, mini ramping with a reducer, and cantriping it takes a lot of steam from this deck without hitting "fair" decks.

Still, this will hurt Kiln Fiend, Izzet Guildmage and similar shotgun/combo brews, some I've wanted to try even if considered non-top tier.

Still the question is does this open up the meta? I actually think it might as this deck (storm) doesn't have a clear answer outside of taking away their wincon cards. Still have to wait and see if that would be the case or even if a ban will come.

It might be a nice addition to modern, still 4 mana sources and 2 turns to destroy everything is pretty slow so it might not be good enough of an answer. Also, I do think there could be a standard that could handle this, but that is a debate for another format.
