3) Turn all your cards face up (Since they're all currently face down 2/2 artifact creatures, it should work unless there's a "SCREW YOU MELVIN!" clause that I'm not aware of).
Counterpoint: Nobody cares about the reserved list because it's dumb . Case in point, Spirit of the Night is on the reserved list :P. Seriously it's 3.49 on Starcity, which is still way more expensive than it should be (Unless I'm missing some crazy legacy deck or something), but I still don't think they can be claiming to be protecting peoples' investments in any cards that you can get a playset of for less than a meal at Applebees (It's admittedly slightly less ludicrous in the case of actual money cards like the Moxen and Brushwagg, but I mean Sliver Queen still goes for 50 and her oversized counterpart was at 20 last I checked, so...).
Much rather have seen Ashiok in the deck, would love alt art and foil for my EDH deck, but I digress.
Also then the Ashiok deck could run Spirit of the Night and Elspeth could... I guess have lots of fight effects. Now we jut need friendship and the theme will be complete.
Come to think of it it's a shame they didn't give her the turn into a creature schtick, then with Prey Upon she really could be the fighter of the Nightman (I mean, it can still be done but takes like four more cards).
You know it kinda takes the fun out of building a Spitemare deck when WotC does it for you. At least by my reckonering.
I really want a RW general that reflects damage in some way so I can build an EDH deck that's full of nothing but cards like Shining Shoal, Boros Fury-shield, Deflecting Palm, etc.
Oros doesn't reflect damage, but he's in the right colors and great support for the strategy.
Or Numot, Brigadier General of Rockitude. Not as supportive, but covers the colors and ensures people will aggro right into your tricks most of the time.
I do love me some basically a better Gigantomancer, but goddamn does this ever illustrate how baby's first homebrew the "base" P/T thing is. I'm guessing it originally also "Had indestructible," but they got too many pre-emptive nasty letters.
So the first batch had people kvetching about sexism, this one has race covered, can't wait to see the third one (Maybe political affiliations or religion?) :33.
Went White in the singles because it had the best promo and I was hoping for a Heliod. Who I pulled in the color pack (Along with his spear and Medomai). Though I underestimated the speed of the format and ended up getting wrecked by aggro decks.
2HG I went black because I wanted to make 15 Gray Merchant.dec. Pulled 0 of them naturally, but got an Erebos in my color pack along with Ashiok and Cashbreath Dragon, so I can't really complain. Also built our decks for speed and went 2-1 (The 1 was due mostly to Cavalry Pegasus and Phalanx Leader). LAst game we had out opponents down to 9 along with some golems and such, but they'd played a few fatties. I then topdecked Mogi's Marauders with like 5 devotion for the win (Things worked out that any of our creatures would be unblockable).
"No, you can't do that unless you exile an elemental first." - That guy.
Dream Chisel?
2) Cast Mirrorweave on your Proteus Machine.
3) Turn all your cards face up (Since they're all currently face down 2/2 artifact creatures, it should work unless there's a "SCREW YOU MELVIN!" clause that I'm not aware of).
4) Wait for the copy effect to end.
5) Profit.

What's silly about a card called "Masterwork of Ingenuity" being strictly worse than Darksteel Relic unless it's literally copying something? :33
For that matter, what edge does peanut butter have over chocolate?
