I was playing today and activated Jace, AOT's -8 ability and searched our libraries. I pulled an Aetherling from my deck and a Nightveil Specter from his. Then he cast FAR // AWAY targeting his Nightveil Specter with the Far side which says "Return target creature to its owner's hand." He said that it would return to his hand because it was his card. Jace's -8 ability says "For each player, search that player's library for a nonland card and exile it, then that player shuffles his or her library. You may cast those cards without paying their mana costs." I thought since it tells you to exile the card before you cast it that the game would cease to recognize it as being his card and become mine, therefore going into my hand. Of course, I might be wrong but I'd really like to know. Would Specter go into my hand or his?
*sorry if this is the wrong place to post this question*
