Wait, was this their official preview card? It seems strange to accidentally find a card for preorder that hasn't been "spoiled" yet. Does SCG and other online retailers have the entire set beforehand or something?
Also, another semi-interesting Heroic card that would be far more interesting if we had decent heroic enablers. Man, I'm really wishing buyback was in this block.
lol me too. I didn't actually believe myself when I first found him about 10 mins ago. I was browsing the pre-order price and arranging plans to decide which pre-release events to attend with my buddies.
People seem to be undervaluing draw smoothing built into a color-fixing land drop. I'll gladly take everyone's copies of these off their hands, since they're so offended.

It seems to me that the second mythic slot for white and green has already been filled by elspeth and Polukranos. If Medomai was a mythic, then white and green would probably have a third mythic for pro-color creature as you guessed:!
Why does the black promo look worse than its original art? I mean why would I want the prerelease version when the original is so much better and cheaper?
I don't understand either:o. The promo art on the overlord looks like a roughly made sketch rather than a delicate artwork on the original one. Thanks to this, I may not choose path of ambition now. The art on the kraken seems impressive to me. I'm disappointed it's not for a new mythic as well.
With that new Nykthos land, this guy is starting to look somewhat viable.

Totally agreed. I still hoped they made him a flyer with a even bigger body instead of 6/6. Or made the ETB effect into a ETB and when attacks like grave titan in a somehow balanced way would be more ideal. In black, with the great power granted, there is always a great cost. I see not a small cost of using him because he's letting me sacrifice creatures, unless I put cards that can recycle the dead creatures. But I don't see a great power granted in return.:(
