Anyway, how does this compare to the Thrasios/Tymna Hulk decks using the "breakfast" combo (self mill with Cephalid Illusionist / Nomads en-Kor)? That combo looks slightly more resilient as you can get a Grand Abolisher from your hulk tutor, thus protecting yourself from grave hate and removal, but does having red gives you significant advantages elsewhere?
The simple answer is I do not have the white cards. What I have is red cards. It turns out the cards works with my playstyle.
Made a few changes with the deck. I just felt that it needs a Plan C. Plan A is Hermit Druid. Plan B is Protean Hulk.
Plan C is Pili-Pala and Grand Architect. This two are can be fetched with Protean Hulk or just cast Pili-Pala then cast Grand Architect the next turn for infinite colored mana and cast Thrasios, Triton Hero to draw the whole deck and win from there. You can also FlashPili-Pala end of turn then cast Grand Architect your turn.
Cards out
-Tasigur, the Golden Fang: I just feel that this is card is only used after having the infinite mana.
-Snapcaster Mage: With a heavy heart I let go of this card.
I have a lot of experience playing Leovold, Emissary of Trest. While I didn't play hard combo, and my list was less competitive/cutthroat then yours I know what works well with him (check out my retired Leovold list in my signature).
Playing a wheel effect while Leovold, Emissary of Trest is out is crippling but it does not win you the game, that is why I opted for Doomsday as a win condition. I have known your list for a while now as It was one of the decks I have read to build mine.
One piece of feedback I will offer that you probably would not take because it would be a fundamental change for you list is to cut the Doomsday combo. The reality is that playing a wheel effect with Leovold, Emissary of Trest out on turn 4 or earlier is so devastating it becomes incredibly difficult for players to come back, even if you are enemy number one. The problem with Doomsday is it forces you to run cards that are very low impact or niche outside of Doomsday (i.e. Demonic Consultation, Laboratory Maniac). You could just run more traditional bombs that also can function as answers or advantage (i.e. Noxious Gearhulk, Frost Titan, Villainous Wealth) or a less fragile win condition (the last thing you want is some exile mill effect to ruin your Doomsday combo or a split second card targeting Laboratory Maniac).
I do agree that the win condition is indeed fragile. I only proceed to play Doomsday once I have wheeled so the chance of it getting disrupted is lesser.
Due to my playgroup being competitive/cutthroat, I think that traditional bombs would not do it. What I need is a game ender. I am open to a less fragile win condition but for now the Doomsday package fits my playstyle.
I do not think Jace's Archivist and Whispering Madness very good. The former is too slow and the latter I tested but I found I almost never was able to recast it for its cipher cost (remember, the creature has to deal combat damage to cihper successfully), nor would I really want or need to. I would recommend Diminishing Returns, but I understand your list is very combo centric so you may not be able to afford losing certain cards via exile but forcing your opponents to shuffle is almost always better than forcing them to discard.
I treat Jace's Archivist as one of the 3cmc wheels. Just cast it earlier than Leovold and just use its wheel ability the turn Leovold come into play. It is indeed slow if you have drawn it after casting Leovold. You are right that my list is very combo centric so I opted to use Whispering Madness rather than Diminishing Returns.
I like Delay a lot. You can also try Countersquall if you want to amend your counter suite. Remand is another one that very good and worth considering.
The counterspells that I have is Ok for me right now.
One thing your list does not have that I found to be incredibly useful when piloting Leovold, Emissary of Trest are permanent cards that can protect him. Sylvan Safekeeper and Spellskite do major work (the latter also hosing voltron aura strategies and protecting your permanents).
Protection is what my deck is really lacking. Kindly recommend what to cut and add for this.
Corner case, but suppose Laboratory Maniac is milled and exiled or countered and exiled, what is your alternate win condition if your combo pieces are removed?
If Laboratory Maniac is exiled I will just go for the Teferi's Puzzle Box lock. This will require a more control play with use of the counterspells and removals until I beat down with the creatures or the opponents just scoops.
I have always been a fan of Sultai Commanders. My first non-casual commander is a Damia, Sage of Stone Control that wins via Tooth and Nail. I have been in love with the colors ever since. I have also built a Sidisi, Brood Tyrant deck and a 1v1 Tasigur, the Golden Fang for 1v1. When Leovold, Emissary of Trest was spoiled, I know I will abuse this card with wheel effects. Leovold having only 3 cmc, I know I can cast him at turn two and go for wheels at turn 3. I do not win right there but it insures me that I can cast Doomsday without worrying what my opponents has in their hands. I opted to use Doomsday as a win condition to finish the game quickly as not to bore the opponents. I think this deck is already well tuned but still can be improved.
Why would You want to play this deck?
You like fast games
You like a powerful and synergistic commander
You like alternate wins and combo
Your playgroup is very cutthroat
You want to have a commander that is fun and enjoyable only to yourself
This deck needs a lot of colors. We have cards with UU, BBB, and BGU cmc and all are turn one ramps have G in there casting cost. Also the Island land type is important because of Gush, which I use as part of my Doomsday pile
Teferi's Puzzle Box: A player draws a card for the turn then put all cards in hand on the bottom of their library. If you Leovold is in play, opponents could only draw the card for the turn and lose their hand. This locks your opponents for drawing anymore cards. Only and instant that removes Leovold or the Puzzle Box could disrupt this lock.
Anvil of Bogardan: A player draws an additional card then discards a card. If you Leovold is in play, opponents only draws a card then discards a card.
Draw Gush with any of the many draw a card effects.
Float mana and bounce two Islands to draw Gitaxian Probe and Lion's Eye Diamond.
Cast Lion's Eye Diamond.
Cast Gitaxian Probe. Crack LED in response to the draw for BBB
Draw Yawgmoth's Will.
Cast Yawgmoth's Will.
Cast Lion's Eye Diamond from graveyard.
Cast Gitaxian Probe from graveyard. Crack LED in response to the draw for UUU
Draw Laboratory Maniac.
Cast Laboratory Maniac.
Draw a card with what you use to draw gush or wait for another turn or let a permanent you control be targeted if Leovold is in play.
Win the game.
Laboratory Maniac: The card that lets you win just by drawing into an empty library.
Tainted Pact: If Leovold and Laboratory Maniac is in play, you can cast this in response to one of your permanent being targeted and you win the game. If you have recursion you can cast this to look for Laboratory Maniac, cast Laboratory Maniac, return Tainted Pact to hand, empty your library and draw a card to win the game.
Demonic Consultation: If Leovold and Laboratory Maniac is in play, you can cast this in response to one of your permanent being targeted and name a card that is not in your hand and you win the game. If you have recursion you can cast this to look for Laboratory Maniac, cast Laboratory Maniac, return Demonic Consultation to hand, empty your library and draw a card to win the game.
Game Plan

A good starting hand has 2-3 lands, a mana dork or any ramp with color, a wheel or a tutor to look for the wheel, and a counter spell or a removal.
Turn 3 Leovold and Wheel
Usual Plays
Turn 1: This could be a mana dork or a one mana tutor for a wheel.
Turn 2: Cast Leovold with two lands and a mana dork or cast Leovold with two lands and a O cmc mana rock.
Turn 3: Cast a wheel or cast Teferi's Puzzle Box for the lock.
Next turn: Search for Doomsday and win with Doomsday.
Turn 1: This could be a mana dork or a one mana tutor for a wheel.
Turn 2: Cast Jace's Archivist or Bloom Tender.
Turn 3: Cast Leovold and Wheel.

You can also win by just casting Doomsday if you have two Islands and a draw a card spell to start a pile.

I once cast Leovold up to 11 casting cost from the command zone because it keeps being hated out. If you cannot cast Leovold, you can always just win with Doomsday and Laboratory Maniac.
Deck history
This is my current decklist for Damia Doomsday Maniac.
I am planning to play this on a 1v1 tourney but I still don't have a Personal Tutor.
I would like to add Toxic Deluge and Predict but I do not know what cards should I replace.
Game 2
Molimo player goes first
Molimo Turn 1: Forest
Me: Wooded Foothills fetch Bayou and play Inquisition of Kozilek. Discard Fierce Empath. It is the only possible blocker for turn 3.
Molimo Turn 2: Forest
Me: Swamp then play Dark Ritual, tap Bayou for green play Varolz, the Scar-Striped. Use the floating black mana to play Phyrexian Dreadnought. Sacrifice Phyrexian Dreadnought.
Molimo Turn 3: Forest. no blockers
Me: Scavenge Phyrexian Dreadnought to Varolz, the Scar-Striped. Cast Tainted Strike Targeting Varolz, the Scar-Striped. Attack with Varolz, the Scar-Striped. Win.
-Pili-Pala
-Grand Architect
Cards in
+Mogis's Marauder
+Apprentice Necromancer
The chance of doing the Pili-Pala + Grand Architect Combo is very slim. It is also slow and needs lots of blue mana.
I added Mogis's Marauder for another Protean Hulk combo.
The combo is Hermit Druid, Deathrite Shaman, and Mogis's Marauder. The Deathrite Shaman and Hermit Druid gains haste. Add one green mana with the shaman at activate Hermit Druid for the Necrotic Ooze kill.
This is great when Protean Hulk gets exiled from the graveyard and you cannot use Body Double for the Walking Ballista kill.
Apprentice Necromancer is another reanimation spell for Hermit Druid.
Removed Duress as I already have many disruption and I need a way to avoid dying to decking.
Added Memory's Journey.
If Dread Return is countered after milling the deck with Hermit Druid, you can use Memory's Journey to return Reanimate, Shallow Grave, and/or Necromancy/Preordain
The simple answer is I do not have the white cards. What I have is red cards. It turns out the cards works with my playstyle.
elfric is on point with the red cards.
Anger gives haste to any creature once it is in the graveyard and you have a mountain. This easy to do with all the loot effects, Survival of the Fittest and Entomb.
Simian Spirit Guide is another instant mana for a turn.
Morselhoarder in my opinion makes a compact infinite mana combo with Necrotic Ooze with just Devoted Druid. No need for Blighted Bat, Wall of Roots, and Channeler Initiate. Although an argument can be made that Wall of Roots and Channeler Initiate are just mana creatures and Morselhoarder could just be Blighted Bat, I just like 1 cmc mana dorks.
Lightning Bolt replaced Swords to Plowshares. Could not think of a better removal for that slot.
Faithless Looting 1 cmc loot with flashback. Digs you deeper into your deck and discards combo pieces that is in your hand.
Gamble is because I do not have an Imperial Seal. First turn Gamble is pretty sick. If you fail on the Gamble at least you have a red Entomb.
Wheel of Fortune, I just like this better than Windfall.
You can also Flash Pili-Pala end of turn then cast Grand Architect your turn.
