Well I am up to version 1.51 now, and aside for the Kalonian Hydra's missing I think this deck is starting to shape up. On MTGO I am roflstomping everything that's not T1 and doing alright vs T1 stuff. Even beat a mono-blue devotion really hard today (thanks Mistcutter Hydra!).
Looking for any more feedback or suggestions (aside for Kalonian) at this point.
Just had a game where I played a deck that was W/U and ALL removal spells + Jace, Memory Adapt and Elspeth (is that a real deck, cause man it was annoying?). While the deck was silly (and boring as hell to play vs) I got a chance to test this out vs a fully dedicated creature removal deck in a LONG game and came out on top (see pic). Really think this is turning out to be a pretty beastly deck, thank you all so much for the help!
Edit: Also don't doubt the Mistcutter's, a couple times now I have casted it for 4 or less mana (not having 5 for the Kalonion) and won the game with it, in particular when Biomancer is out. Sad mono0blue devotion is not more popular on MTGO, would really shine there.
I know Kalionan needs to be in, I just can't right this second. I think I will likely end up with both Hydra's in the end.
Edit 2: Hydra is dropping like a rock atm in price, I think even if I had the $ I would wait a minute anyways.
Edit 3: Updated to 1.5 then 1.51, redid some mana (more forests).
Some cards to possibly play with (synergy is a difficult thing to tinker with because it's so easy to throw a good synergy out of whack with minor changes) and see what happens:
nimbus swimmer - evasion and trample prime speaker zegana - late game monster that can replensh your hand so you are not in a "top deck" state simic manipulator - fun for control when you have ways to make lots of counters, also good target for absorbing opponent critter destruction zamek guildmage - good for increased draw rate
I am assuming you want high critter count and are avoiding enchantments/instants to keep deck fast. I had a really fun 36 critter deck pre-rotation with lots of undying and regen that gave folks fits!
EDIT: you are willing to put in an artifact, however, I am dying to see how illusionist's bracers works when put on vorel of the hull clade. I can never seem to get the combo out though
Thank you so much for the feedback and it was an honor to play vs you :)!
nimbus swimmer - Looked at him a couple times, the X cost is scary, might try him out however.
prime speaker zegana - was in my original decklist, required too many things to be in place. Was very inconsistent. Seems like maybe good sideboard material vs slower decks?
simic manipulator - I have looked at it about 100 times now lol. Think I'll break down and try it, seems pretty slow however, almost like you would not want to cast it before biomancer.
zamek guildmage - was also in original, just sucks up too much mana to be useful.
illusionist's bracers - VERY interesting, will have to mess with this. My 2 drop slot is also pretty hit or miss, so maybe this will round it out.
I am also not dead set on the very high creature count, there is just so many that work so well and so few non-creatures that hold their own weight in here.
I am still missing the Kalonian Hydra's as I cannot afford them atm, but I would likely add 2 if I had them (cutting 1 Rubblebelt and 1 of something else).
It has been testing pretty well in my test games, and with the new setup the Gyre Sage is actually working out pretty well and outperformed Carythid this why it is back in.
Thanks in advance for any help or advice you may have :)!
Renegade krasis is good for goldfishing, not so good when not goldfishing.
You're missing experiment one and cloudfin raptor. They help your early game a lot. Forced adaptation isn't so good since the creature needs to live as well as time. Burning-tree emissary is probably better as kalonian tusker since it evolves further and BTE doesn't go into all that many things.
Yea I have added Raptor and removed adaptation. I have updated the OP with both the current and the version I am working on atm.
you were 2 cards short. I put in 2 kalonion hydra to start. The other cards im considering are bow of nylea and nylea herself. I'll play around and test. I'm thinking I might look for a way to get prophet of kruphix in here too.
Another issue I have is that reverent hunter doesnt trigger any evolve creatures
Yeah I had Give/Take originally and took it out but forgot to fill the slots, let me know how that Hydra works out! I have also been seeing the hunter trigger evolves is a Biomancer is out. But it's just such a strong card at 3 mana, that it so far has been the strongest finisher I have had.
I think Gyre Sage is too cute, Sylvan Caryatid is where it's at. I'd try adding red if only for Domri Rade; maybe remove forced adaptation for rapid hybridization.
One thing about Gyre Sage, it's a surfire way to draw out any creature hate spells lol! I agree though, seems gimmicky, need to play around more with Carythid.
My experience with Kalonian Hydra consists of checking the price online, gasping in horror, and deciding that my Mistcutters will do just fine.
That's been mine too, T_T.
Edit, I threw together a 2 minute example list of the Green devotion thing, also assuming budget was no issue (which it is, but I figure I better find the optimal route). You guys think its better or worse? I know it still has some of the old issues (too many creatures!) but just working on overall concept here.
I agree about the creatures like Prime Speaker and Fathom, they have been not performing and will be first to go with changes. Vorel has been ok-ish, it hits alot of evolve triggers with it's 4 toughness, and fills a pretty weak slot at 3 mana. I've already had it prove very useful in a small number of games even at 1x copy. Thinking of actually upping to 2x.
Simic Charm was in an earlier version of this, feel like I need to re add it.
One idea I am having is maybe making it it more about Green Devotion with the U/B things that boost it. I am finding my MVP so far has been Reverent Hunter when combined with Biomancer. Maybe add in the Nylea set (Bow/God)?
Will be looking at Caryatid too, seems very interesting. Do you have any experience with Kalonian Hydra in this deck?
I am working on a deck for standard, and as always I am trying to make something of my own creation :)! So far the main thing I think will be fun is a U/G deck focused on counters (specifically +1/+1 ones) and using Master Biomancer to make some big creatures!
Normally I tend to perfect a deck more before I turn to the net for help, but I want to try something new with this, as I feel maybe I can have things I missed pointed out quicker and better than me guessing.
Please let me know any and all advice you may have! Thank you in advance for your time!
Ok back from a busy couple days and ready to work on this again, any good suggestions anyone has thought of?
Aside for my issue of feeling like something is missing, the deck I feel is in a good spot and ready to start working on a sideboard. What main decks should I be looking to sideboard out and what are good cards vs them?

Yea agree. To search continues!
