we already have a ticket in the sorting, and are working on the green card issues (its just an import issues)
The idea of this is to move it off the forums. It is very hard for people to actually find decks they want on forums. There is no concept of searching, or finding trending decks..etc

Sweet. That's a start. Playing around with that, I now notice that it's sorting cards in an order I didn't expect. Not sure what the criteria is.Quote from molster »the [deck] widget already works with the builder just do[deck]ID OF DECK[//deck]
a very bad one
we have a ticket to change it so within each section it will sort by cost, and then alpha within cost -

we do plan to update the widget as time goes on. But we do expect the deck listing to be the primary place for people to talk about their decks -

Sep 11, 2017molster posted a message on Changes to MTGSalvation User AccountsPosted in: ArticlesQuote from Eruyaean »So Basically, i have to create an account in some unrelated service i may not use to continue to use this Forum?
its no different than when a curse account was made for MTGS. a MTGS account is a cures account which can be used on all our sites. Now that we are a part of twitch, its now the same thing, but instead of a curse account, it is now a twitch account. This lets us just run a single user pool, which is a LOT more secure for users! -
Sep 11, 2017molster posted a message on Changes to MTGSalvation User AccountsPosted in: ArticlesQuote from arrogantAxolotl »This is... huh? What? I don't understand what's going on here at all.
I don't use Twitch. I don't even like Twitch. Why do I have to merge my Salvation account with a Twitch account all of a sudden? Molster says it's because it provides more streamlined account security, faster user support, and an easier log-in process, but this is still baffling to me. Easier log-in process? How much easier could logging in be? My home computer already logs me in automatically. Everywhere else... it's just a simple username/password system. How could that process possibly be made any easier?
Maybe this is a security thing, and admittedly I know absolutely nothing about security, but how does merging Salvation accounts to Twitch accounts make things more secure? And why Twitch of all things? Why now? What's the prerogative for this change? Maybe I'm just being some cranky, old man whose resistant to change regardless if it's for the better or not, but I honestly just don't understand why this even needs to happen. I don't want a Twitch account.
Curse = Twitch. Its a lot more secure to use one login system instead of the two we are using now across all our sites. Lets us keep user information a lot more secure and protected using the single login. -

Yes, you will be able to use a [deck] tag to auto add the deck to a forum posts.
as for the hand simulator, we can prob add this to the widget, if we cant, in the first iteration, you can always just click into the deck to try it! -

The one about spoilers is fair, but not sure how to solve it yet, we will be talking.
as for the space above, people who are using adblock may not understand it. An issue on this site, (and all sites on curse) is when a super leaderboard or siteskin loads, everyhting gets pushed down on the user. which caused site performance issues, as well as miss-clicks
having the news articles at the top, now prevents all pop-in when an ad loads, also allows the editorial team here to show off some cool content on all parts of the site now, as well as announcements.
(example of a super leaderboard loading:
I think its fair to be a little thrown off by the extra space, even more so if you had been using adblocker. But to use the forums, you still have to scroll no matter what to read everything. With that said, a LOT of talk went into adding that system, so we are very interested in peoples thoughts as they use the site for the days to come, as how it impacts user engagement on both forums, and news will be good info
please keep it coming
Do w/e you guys think is best to figure it out, and let feyd or another admin know. Its about 3 clicks to change the threads per page and posts per thread for a specific forum. So if you guys decided, easy change.
That was another issue! We have a new ticket in about linebreaks between quotes, ill make sure it gets fixed
a) admins can increase this on any forum users want to view more posts. 20 is the standard used on most forums, but can easily be changed by any admin
b) Thats by design, out of wondering, why do you want it to do a full refresh?
c) if the only issue with multi quote is the linebreak, we can easily add that in.
you can make the box as big as you want, just drag it! http://i.imgur.com/vakbgJC.png
could you link the post in question?
The account "Alex_le_Sang" was made back in 2012. So when mtgs merged - it merged your MTGS account into your already made curse account. You can reset your password using your account name "Alex_le_Sang" and it will send the reset to the password on file.
the scrolling -is- the size limit. If a sig size has a fixed size, any large and itll scroll instead of taking up more space.
