I can see why you would think that's Teferi's son as opposed to Teferi himself, he does appear to be younger than the other iterations of Teferi we've had. However I imagine it's just artist discretion where Teferi being old wasn't a crucial part of his art, and it wasn't passed along, and was missed, as it appears to me that the clothes / staff are similar enough that I would have a hard time imagine young Teferi wearing old daddy's clothes and them fitting so nicely.

To the UW glittering wish control player, while I haven't played against your deck, I imagine that simply putting the card glittering wish in your deck, without a specific silver bullet to wish for in this matchup (wheel of sun and moon is ok but really overall weak graveyard hate vs. this deck) you're just going to be playing this clunky card in your hand every game that puts you down on tempo to play. Turn 2 wish into T3 geist might provide pressure but it also might just leave you dead since you lose a lot of tempo.

Simply put I don't think you're going to have a good matchup with this kind of glittering wish deck, perhaps if you could find a card that really hoses storm the glittering wishes really go up in value, otherwise I think you're just going to end up too far behind on tempo if your deck relies for the most part on glittering wish.

I had a thought the other day and I noticed this was discussed a while back, but Claim // Fame in a variant of storm ? It's probably not useable in fetchless, but for a minor black splash (as well as other cards for the sideboard) you get this card that can get your creatures back for only one mana, it can make gifts piles better in my opinion, as I've not always been a huge fan of Noxious Revival since it does take away a draw step, and I think its also very castable just off manamorphose when necessary.

A major con I do see is its just making the deck worse to graveyard hate, so maybe its only maindeckable as a 1 or 2 of and gets boarded out, but I at least like it in thought to have one mana barals/electromancers.

I also think having black in the deck could shore up some of our worse matchups (burn, meet collective brutality) and the ability to just run cards like this give us more options to interact with the opponents ? Con,storm is notorious for being fairly fast so maybe we don't have to worry about interacting with other decks that are not burn all too much ?

From playing against the deck I've found one of the huge strengths of the deck is the ability to play entirely at instant speed. Thoughtseizes and inquisitions are cards that you would have to decide to hold up countermagic or play them which might not seem like a big deal, but it gives opposing combo decks (I play gifts storm) the opportunity to more freely do what they wish on their turn without fear of repercussion.

I usually would bring in bolts against DS for the bolt ritual grapeshot-esque kill. Unlikely you get to kill a small death's shadow with it but I've found kill target opponent is effective.

Another matchup I was wondering about was UR Through the Breach. I've not had any good luck against this deck but anybody else have experience or thoughts ? I find that they run all their spell at instant speed other than serum visions so its just hard to find a good time to go off before they're just able to go off. Remand also can't stop their combo game 1 because they can just cast it end of turn.

I had been reading one of Caleb's blog posts about this variety of storm (fetchless) and all in all he recommended boarding out barals and electromancers vs. Grixis Death's Shadow can anybody shed light on that ? Have they found that to be a good way to run or not

Can anybody help me maybe with deck construction or play ?

I read in the matchup list that GBx is a hard matchup and I can confirm that in my experience, but I'm wondering how in the actual heck we beat them without them having bad luck ? (me getting lucky isn't enough since they just remove any amount of my luck in one way or another)

I haven't bought a blood moon online yet, is that enough to significantly swing the match one way or another postboard ?

Let me know what you all have found useful against these kinds of decks

Obzedat, the Ghost Council as your commander, you could win once everything is exiled by bringing obzecookie in and out. Also sorry for not linking, forgot how to do it on this website.

I don't know if this came up in the rest of the thread, but I really feel Pyxis of Pandemonium should be played. It exiles making it so that graveyard strategies aren't as scary, and potentially popping it if you remember what was under it could give you the advantage. (Popping it is extremely unlikely but should also be said your opponent won't likely force you to pop it)

I love this set. The multicolor cards look amazing to me as a casual/EDH player. I like to play garbage decks, like mill, dredge, and rainbow. Don't worry about what cards are playable, look at what cards look fun and have fun. It still is a game.

Not sure on the rules of Pauper EDH, does General damage still apply, and does it have to be a creature? Looking at the above suggestion of Marble Chalice, I'd say most of the timn Chalice of life/ Chalice of death> Marble Chalice. Radiant Fountain coming out soon in M15 might be a welcome edition. Very cool anyhow seems like it could get there quickly.

I've been getting first at my local card shop with a mainly creature based minotaur aggressive strategy. With enough creatures smashing face I can easily cast my Rakdos, Lord of Riots. From there he gives Mogis 4 devotion, or combos with Ragemonger for free minotaurs. Ragemonger is also good with Gnarled Scarhide if you didn't get him out early game. I have a load of removal in the sideboard, I usually remove Rakdos and some of my two drop minotaurs as my opponent sideboards against my aggressiveness. Deathbellow Raider is almost always better than Felhide Brawler because Fanatic of Mogis likes friends.

If conspiracies are legal in commander, then I would insist on the following rules:No more than one conspiracy in a match, you cannot name your general with Hidden Agendas, and no secret naming (I think that they should just be out in the open, someone should know if you plan on double stroking Time Stretch).

I can see what you mean with the Mana Tithe, but since you have a fair amount of blue, Boomerang is U/U and you don't have any basic plains to fetch with the fetch land. For these reasons I would recommend Force Spike over Mana Tithe it goes with your other blue curves, and you could fetch an island with the fetch land so you don't have to pay the extra to life for that first counterspell. Otherwise very goood, I did not realize there were already a fair amount of good birds out there. (Other than Storm Crow).
