Whether or not the game was good and whether or you won or lost is, to me, irrelevant. The only time I don't offer/accept a handshake or "good game" sentiment is when my opponent was rude. I don't care if I mulliganed to three and you say 'good game' upon winning... unless you're being smug about it.
I've just been kicked out of my last two matches after the first game. The first time was because I opened up my sideboard, the second time because apparently I prematurely conceded to his (raid triggered) Wingmate Roc and Siege Rhino when I had nothing on the board and 10 life.
Thank you for responding so quickly. I've been on a rules knowledge binge lately, and this had been bugging me. Now I feel like an idiot for getting so defensive during the game.
This is probably a stupid question, but my opponent seemed so sure of himself at the time (and I've misunderstood rules in the past). I cast Sidisi, Brood Tyrant. It resolves. Its ETB effect goes on the stack (at least I'm assuming how this works), and my opponent casts Lightning Strike targeting Sidisi in an attempt to prevent me from exiling three cards off my library and potentially getting a token. Is this possible, or does the effect still resolve?
Edit: I guess the title is a little misleading because burn isn't removal, but the question remains the same.
Yeesh. Some of these comments and reactions are ridiculous. "Confiscate his collection of cards." "Innocent until proven guilty doesn't apply in this case."
I'll wait for the official decision on this and steer clear of the internet mob (which, I might add, has no personal connection to the event, nor do they have the tools/information to properly evaluate the situation).
Do these players just disappear for 3 months until they can moan and be wrong again later?
It's not the same players every single set (imo). I feel like what cards get reprinted/what colors get "stronger" determines who's going to be complaining come spoiler season.
Multiple variants of the Jeskai deck are among the best in the format. Just seems like black and green aren't getting quite as much love from WotC.

This is as close to flaming as anyone in this thread has come.

If having an exclamation point or an apostrophe doesn't work, then those don't matter. But the spaces and capitalization are important.
