    I agree items make it easier for less skilled players but they are a part of the game. Some people are better with items than others and that could be what makes them the better player as well. If you are bad with items, can you really be good at the game?

    Super Smash Bros Melee is arguably my favorite video game of all time. I myself am a Samus fan. How about you? Remember lets keep this melee. Not a fan of Brawl. Also, what would you consider the top 5 items in the game. For me its:
    1) Homerun Bat
    2)Heart Container
    3)Starguy
    4)Greenshell
    5)pokeball
