+1: Place one green 2/2 wolf token on the battlefield.
-3: Until end of turn, whenever you tap a land for mana, Mathew Varnabeld adds G or R to your mana pool.
0: Until end of turn, Mathew Varnabeld becomes an X/X Wolf Warrior creature that's still a planeswalker, where X is the number of loyalty counters on him.
How about this? Dumped the transform, it was a bit convoluted ^_^;.

Planeswalker- Mathew
+1: Place one green 2/2 wolf token on the battlefield.
-3: Mathew Varnabeld gains "1: add GR,RR, or GG to your mana pool" until end of turn.
0: Until end of turn, Mathew Varnabeld becomes an X/X Wolf Warrior creature that's still a planeswalker, where X is the number of loyalty counters on him.
Enters play with 2 loyalty counters
Took Willow's advice, consolidated the two state-changes into a single one, and made his second ability into a mana-ramper. I think my choice in giving the ultimate an X/X is justified in that it replaces the typical walker/creature's indestructibility. Smashy and reckless- fits him like a glove!
Oh, My apologies. I shall make an amendment to the original post with artist credits as soon as possible. After that I'll set about re-balancing and re-typing the card.
I would like your opinion on this Card's balance and usability. I designed it to work well with in a speedy red-green creature deck. Funnily enough, in my experience he works best in a red-green Werewolf deck with a splash of the Non-crappy Bloodrush cards.
Meet Mat. Mat is a Wolfir Planewalker. Mat's card has a transform effect.
This is Mat.
This is Mat on Giant Growth.
I decided that my wolfir planeswalker deserved a card, since he was the only one uninvolved in a certain conga-line of failure that shall not be spoken of from a certain MTG themed D&D campaign.
He's not particularly gifted as far as spellcasting goes, his primary claim to fame is a knack for multiplying his own mana using Abundant Growth, Pyretic Ritual, and the Gruul Signet on his chest. He then burns all of that mana to summon a howlpack (his +1) or direct it all into a sustained spamming of Giant Growth (His transform).
But then again, his crude spells work well to complement his natural response to threats, it being "Imma kill it with mah claws!"

There I fixed him.
