I'm in the process of building this deck, thanks for all the great ideas. Has anyone tried running domri rade? Could be good removal and creature draw.
Purchased 4x sword of the meek from them. They cancelled my order after the spike claiming "out of stock." Do not purchase anything from this vendor as they cannot be trusted.
There's a dedicated thread for stores that cancel orders during a spike, might be worthwhile to add it there too:

I have an eldrazi deck and own 4 eyes, but am happy with this compromise and the unbannings. Leaving temple will allow for it to remain competetive without having the nut draws and the crazy mimics. Its also great to see some unbannings. Everyone should be happy with this.
I don't think he has ever said that there are more people that agree with him than there are people that would agree with your viewpoint. but there are players who enjoy playing more linear, non-interactive decks for whatever reason, that are not stifling the format, and those people should have the right to play what they want as well as you. we're probably in the minority, you're right about that but you're looking for any proof that any of his arguments can be represented in reality, here I am.
unless your argument really is ad populum; "ban the stuff I don't like and nobody cares about the minority."
You know what was great? Most of 2015, when we had a wide and robust meta where 30 different decks made Top 8 at major events all year and there were another 15 or 20 "almost there" decks that were extremely popular at local levels and smaller events. You could basically play what you wanted and still have a chance for success any given weekend. With Twin gone, that variety has fallen to: Eldrazi, Hyper Aggro, Uninteractive Combo, or some combination thereof. With Eldrazi out of the picture, Control MAYYY pick up, but without good answers to decks that spit out more threats than Control can deal with, it's still could just be aggro/combo. Remember what the Pro Tour looked like? Back before Eldrazi took over? Even then, it was a clear representation of what people thought would be best in a Twinless format, and what we'll be stuck with once Eldrazi is dealt with. Of those 30-40 viable decks last year, less than 1/4 of them are still playable without Twin keeping the degenerate garbage at bay.
The Eldrazi format is still more diverse than the content of your posts since the Twin ban.
Hell, the Eldrazi evolved, all you've done is ***** and moan as if Twin was the hero that could've saved this format, as if the usual surge of aggro that comes after a format shakeup would somehow last forever.
It is funny how in twin players' minds they were some sort of police force for good, keeping all the bad decks at bay. The "twin colored glasses" format view thankfully is just an amusement at this point now that the deck is gone.
If eye gets banned, there is literally zero reason to ban mimic.
temple, mimic, temple mimic mimic, land, smasher? very rare but it could happen
Mimic is so good because its free with eye. Mimic mimic mimic t1 into thought-knot t2 was just broken. You need 7 cards in your scenario, I dont think theyre banning something based on a 7 card, 3 turn combo that's incredibly unlikely to draw into.
On the subject of Eldrazi ban, after GP detroit I really don't think they are hitting both lands. It sounds like Forscythe wants to hit a creature and a land instead so eldrazi will live in a form similar to affinity. So now it's going to be a gamble as to what they are going to ban to fix the situation. I'm really hoping that if they target a creature it will be Mimic and not something else like Thought-Knot seer. I don't think the format needs more generic clone cards, even if Eldrazi Mimic is basically a reactive clone compared to something like Phantasmal Image.
The question of whether it's temple or eye that is getting hit is a completely different matter, though. Eye is more powerful than temple and can combo with Urborg, tomb of Yawgmoth, but temple can be cloned via thespian's stage and vesuva. On the other hand, the only thing that benefits from the cloning really are eldrazi specific cards and it would take some luck to get two Temples in a starting hand for an explosive play. Plus if Wizards wants diversity I don't think they will favor the card that basically makes Eldrazi another version of affinity.
The other big question is if they want to hit tron, too. Eldrazi temple hits only Eldrazi, while Eye of Ugin hits both tron and eldrazi. Really, this could go either way at this point.
This. Was just going to say this. IMO though it's going to be temple that gets banned. With temple you can still have crazy mana with stage and vesuva, even though yes it does slow it down. With eye, it's more powerful on its own but its legendary and real easy to disrupt with ghost quarter or fulminator mage. If you ban temple and mimic you still have a great deck but its more fragile and takes longer to get going.
Crazy mana isn't an issue, though. I've play tested it and the fact is that outside of a few early cards most eldrazi are over costed. Not to mention vesuva and thespian stage have some rather big draw backs in the faster modern format, so don't start thinking they will just gun temple because of duplication
If thats the case I guess it doesnt matter which one gets the ax. One of the two makes it a lot easier to deal with. Worth noting, if eye gets banned theres no reason to ban mimic, it will probably just be eye.

Thank you I added it there as well.
Lol, at least you admit it.
Really? That sounds like extremely wishful thinking from someone who doesnt like the deck.
Here is a link to the cliff notes of the interview. IMO its pretty obvious it will be one land. We'll find out tomorrow at any rate.

Why? That's absurd, especially when wotc said they want the deck to still be playable.
