Can my opponent and I both have control of an Ugin, the Spirit Dragonat the same time? Not the same Ugin, 2 separate. One on each side of the battlefield.
I want to say it was a 0/4 creature. I think. Him and I have already discussed this and we both are on the same page now. Thanks a ton everybody who helped me out here with this. It is very much appreciated.
I do not remember specific cards. I believe I casted a tail slash to make his creatures health go down and then a drown in sorrow to finish it off. He casted something that made it a 4/4 after I had casted the two others. Because the first resolved leaving his creature with 2 toughness, when I cast the second spell, he made the now 5/0 creature a 4/4. I dont remember exact specifics now, as it happened yesterday, but it was something to that effect.
This came up in a friendly game with a friend and I. I'm not going to bring card names in to it. Basically, I wanted to cast 2 instants with out the first resolving. I did not know I still had priority and asked him if he were responding to the first before I played the second. He said no, so I played the second. Because the first resolved he was able to combat trick his way out of danger. Had it not resolved, the second would've killed his creature. The situation probably would never come up again, but his creature would've died had I known that I could've just casted both of the instants.
Say I cast any instant. My opponent then gets priority to respond. They choose not to. If I want yo cast another instant in response to my first can I? Does the first one have to resolve before I can?
Say I am using Alesha, Who Smiles At Death and I have entered combat and am declaring attackers. If I use her ability to bring a creature out of my graveyard and get devotion for a god (Mogis, god of slaughter), can I declare him as an attacker that attack step?
Howl of the Horde makes copies of a spell. Say that spell is a burn spell. If my opponent reacts with a deflecting palm what is the source of damage? Are there several sources? Please someone help give some insight into how this would play out and why it works that way.
Ok so, Pearl Lake Ancient is awesome. I do have one question about it though. Can I block something with deathtouch, then return it to my hand without it dying?
I have main boarded the 2 Gods Willing and the Valorous Stances. I am working on learning to play the deck more effectively. I've found that dumping all my resources on 1 creature as quickly as possible is not how to play a heroic deck. Any tips on how to pilot this thing?

Another question about Battle Brawler while I'm here. Would Nomad Outpost, Cave of Koilos, and Temple of Malice count as the red/white permanents I need for his ability?
