I see a hostility that we haven't had to deal with in a few years. It's been really pleasant - please don't bring it back.

My friends and fellow speakeasy denizens, I come to you on the behest of the great dragon with an urgent plea.

On 6 May 2014, at approximately 9:30PM Eastern Standard Time - a low-flying roflcopter was shot down by the inexorable internet terrorist codenamed Reverse Oreo. Our compatriot i_am_a_badman was aboard the aforementioned chopper, and we lost contact with him after the incident.

Our sources have informed us that i_am_a_badman was last seen trudging towards his old stomping grounds of MTGS, possibly muttering incomprehensible gibberish about Ol dirty bastard meets carter 2 lil wayne meets slowed down busta rhymes.

If you or anyone you know has information pertaining to the whereabouts of i_am_a_badman, please contact me or any other members of the BBB(Bring Back our Baguy) foundation.

Use Twitter as a medium and spread the word using #baguy2014

May God guide you on your quest.

    Sigh.

-crumples up notes and throws in dustbin-

    Well that's ******* brilliant.

I'll do a hard reset tomorrow.

Neutral infraction where you come from, perhaps. We may have some meta differences there. Lining up lynches is usually considered egregious sin over at MS, right up there with the infamous "amished" tell. Thing is, I don't see any scum maliciousness behind it. Your thought process is solid. I don't think you're scum, I just know you're not on the right track.

You use style over substance. I was interested in talking to you because I wanted to get a better sense of you. If Plum is scum and I succeed in lynching him you are a dead man. So I don't have to worry about you at all. Your "cool story bro" "salty" and hip use of the word "Awkward" might work on others, but I am afraid they do not cover up your lack of logic in your own defense nor your appalling lack of logic in regards to Plum, whom you only shut up against when it was brought up.

You're not the lynchpin of my current theory. You don't matter to me. I am sorry if you feel this is awkward, I could give you a gift basket.

    I do like gift baskets.

Lining up lynches isn't very nice, either way. So I hope it comes with an apology card.

I thought "I have a scenario for you" and then followed by "Let's say I come to you." was clear It was a story. A story of a deal, but a story.

And you know what, you do you man. But I'm not your bro, and I don't give a crap about your vote or you. Do as wish.

    So, back to Mr. Plum.

    Someone's salty this evening.

Funny, though, that you're brushing me off and pretending like you never cared. It seemed like you cared at least a little bit about me and my vote, if your posts are any indication.

    Awkward.

I took your scenario as a deal. Sounded like one. Something between a deal and a threat, at least.

Denied. A resolute response. You would go so far as to question Plum, calling him super awful, but when it comes time to back up empty words with actions you offer no retort and as a supposed member of town would rather be thought as a scumbuddy of his when you pointed out previous bad behavior rather than vote for him at all.

That doesn't add up. I think you screwed you up bad. And the worse news for you? That guy who spoke about me and 12 rounds was right. I'm kind of a bloodhound for this sort of thing.

So now that Kaze has failed himself, would anyone like to offer up a reasoning in his stead for his vote on dels over plum and then his wish to not discuss Plum except for "I have no retort." That usually means "Oh. I messed up" if my translation is good.

Cool story, bro. But my vote is my own as are my scumhunting tactics and I'll not be strongarmed.

My apologies Kaze. It wasn't supposed to have been that disruptive.

No worries. I don't think it was intentional, at least.

Would you care to comment at all on your vote on Dels? The last thing you said in your first post about him (unless I'm misinterpreting) is that you thought his fight with me was Town vs Town.

I recall pondering if all the discussion was TvT and the scum were lurking, but that was just a musing and nothing definitive.

Dels is an experienced player, it appears. Not someone who would buckle under pressure of votes or cases, so I decided not to go that route. Throughout my initial read I kept getting bad feelings about his slot. I tend to go with my gut early on as it hits the mark more often than not, so I threw a vote in his direction without a case to see how he'd respond. He grew irate and unkind towards me, attempting to discredit me and alluding that I have bad logic and that he "dislikes my posting style." Some of that can be attributed to some sort of townie indignation, but again, he's experienced and not the sort I'd expect to direct ire over not having a case to defend against. Thus, he keeps my vote.

    Quote from Sir Chris
I have a scenario for you, Kaze.

Let's say I come to you with a deal. Currently I think you and Plum could be buddies, it makes sense. But I am more certain of Plum. You vote Plum, and if he flips scum, I'll know that I was just being paranoid. If you don't vote Plum and he flips scum, I have all of the evidence I need to lynch you next. Would you vote Plum then?

    Denied.

By the way, I'm 99% sure that flavour is relevant this game, but the scum have mod-given fakeclaims.

I'll not expound on that yet.

All this talk of youtube links is fluffy and is seriously screwing up the signal:noise ratio in this thread.

    I didn't see that post.

But it's a fair point and I really don't have a retort except that I don't feel like engaging Plum today. I think I said that already.

What you've said and the actions (particularly votes) you've taken haven't lined up. That means that you are being untruthful with one or the other. How is that not alignment-indicative?

If you'd be so kind as to point out the inconsistencies you claim to see, I'd be happy to prove you mistaken.
