That said, you might as well go five color. And run either a Good Stuff or a Fun Stuff build.
My preference runs to good lands and a lot of card draw.
Extra mana (fixing) helps, some endurance (pillow fort, life gain, or whatever) as well.
And maybe some control and sweepers.
Are you looking for more specific advice? Or does this help enough?
How good is mutate?
Are those tripple lands worth the money?
Which cards do I like in my meta? (Ok. Don’t answer this one. But the other two are worthy of discussion.)
And they’re old old friends.
(-:
Anywhoo... what I tried to say is, you need something to hold the fort against your (barbarian?) friends.
‘Nuff said.
However, the creature count seems low. The cool other stuff count seems high.
This is of course meta dependant.
Is there a horde player, is there a big flying dudes player, is there a combo player?
What are you up against?
Just to add one more good stuff Austere Command never lets me down.
Or just countering stuff?
There are of course all kinds of Counterspell variants that give you things in return like treasure tokens.
And Desertion is still a card.
But you’ll probably need some kind of board position to defend, and possibly attack. And that’s a hard balancing act.
Oh. And Spell Burst and Forbid might help.
And maybe some more card draw?
I see the Sol Rings, aren’t those restricted in your playgroup? They are limited to one, almost everywhere...

Other than that, listen to the man.
And run a few nice equipment. Otherwise that Mystic gets bored.
But otherwise speeding up your getting to big mana is a nice fast lane to endgame...
I agree with most of it. (for example, I love Defile)
I must confess I prefer Vona’s Hunger over those Triumphs though. (I know, I know 3 CMC)
And K’rrik seems to need a lot of building around to me. (Or do you mean that for a 40 life game?)
The Deadeye had me gloating for five seconds before I decided that was over the top.
The rite of replication is a cool addition though...
