This is no where near as good as you guys think. It's only playable in heroic targets (and those are many, i will admit). Three mana is a lot and the trick is not even that strong.
I would say 5~6 pick material, a bit higher if i'm deep in the heroic archetype.
I think you are completely off base with this. Martial Glory was far beyond just "playable", and this is at the very least only a bit worse that MG.
Aaaand its uncommon. If it were Common it would be the cornerstone Heroic enabler. At uncommon, it is just a hell of a combat trick (with boost from Heroic).
For the people saying this isn't good in limited, just stop. If you're in black, you are going to play this in draft and sealed 100% of the time. Barring a better bomb at rare, it's going to be picked first p1p1. It gives you a hard-to-remove body, deters your opponent from attacking, and kills a creature with one of the least restrictive clauses in Magic. No limited player is ever going to care that her Monstrous cost is 7. And you can't say her cmc is 12 for the same reason we didn't say Avalanche Riders cmc was 8. It's split over two turns, and, unlike Echo, never has to be activated for the card to remain useful.
It is too early to say it will P1P1. We haven't even seen half of the set yet, and most of those are the limited-focused cards.
So this is strictly better than Elite Vanguard. Fleecemane Lion is strictly better than Watchwolf. The new duals are strictly better than the Guildgates. Wonder what else will be revealed that follows this pattern?
Angel of Despair saw two printings at a lower rarity and still maintains a $5 price tag. What makes you think that a mythic that exiles two permanents is going to be worth less? I can see this being a $20 mythic easily, with the foils somewhere around $80.
It won't be a staple 4-of in any Modern or Standard deck. Angels Commander printing doesn't really count for rarity, as it is pre-set for a very limited supply product. The Guildpact printing is Rare, from a small-set, but Magic has grown considerably since then, so it is severely supply constrained relative to the size of the current playerbase. Also, that's pre-NWO, so small-set Rare from then is about as Rare as a newer large-set Rare.
It's an upgraded Angel of Despair which was black and white, which was a riff on Vindicate which was black and white.
Yeah, this is a direct upgrade of something that already exists. It is literally just an extra mana on Angel of Despair for a trigger when it does, too.
They are gorgons. They're not exactly commonplace even in Greek mythology, and there's still over half of the block to go.

Having to hit two targets, rather than up to two , is a huge, huge issue. I have it my cube... and it is truly a strike against it.
This.
The card has three things going for it that we haven't really seen so far out of Heroic enablers.
1) Two Targets.
2) Instant Speed.
3) Lower Cost than Bestow.
The combo is what pushes it from just playable to great.
And as a combat trick, we just had Martial Glory, which I think is comparable to this, and amazing.

Because a five drop with an activated ability is a completely appropriate comparison to a seven drop.
That's not much a pattern.
Reminds me of the time I Smited my own attacking creature, twice, to kill with Extort triggers. GG.

Gatecrash pairs, to balance against the months between RtR and Gatecrash.
The mythics are:
5 Gods
5 Mono-colored others
5 Allied-colored Golds
Enemy-colored is likely only at Rare, for now, but there will be more in the later sets of the block.
