this may have already been covered, my apologies, just need a quick answer.
blind obedience and its extort:
there is a disagreement as to how may times the extort ability can be used. my opponent says one time only, not even once per turn, just one time. if im reading the card correctly, there is nothing that states using extort only one time. am i correct in thinking that as long as blind obedience is in play that i can use extort whenever i successfully cast a spell? (provided i have the proper amount of land to use, of course.)
i may have worded my question poorly, i think. so if they decide to cast a thoughtseize, could i then use the ability to exile a card before they get to look at my hand?
sorry if this is a nonsense question lol. just been racking my brain to try to find a plausable reason to play bane alley.
is it possible/legal to use Bane Alley Broker's first ability in response to say, thoughtseize/duress/inquisition, thus exiling the card in order to prevent the discard? (provided she is not sick, of course)
thanks in advance.

just playtested a bit...i tried Telling Time to prepare for life loss, plus with Dimir Charm (as previously mentioned) on opponent...its pretty obscene....though im already tired of looking at this haggard proxy im using..bahh
this card.....wow. not quite confidant, but....i like this thing. b/u + flying, plus vampire, non-legend....plus bob version 2.0.....prettttayyyyyy good.
my multiplayer friends will love when i drop this.
So let me ask this question from the other side of the discussion:
I have a pair of Thoughtseizes, which I would happily part with at a high price and replace with something more mundane, but I have no idea how to maximize their value.
When should I dump them? Are they at their highest now?
if you decide to part ways with them, let me know.
1) It's Modern season.
2) MM comes out after Modern Season ends for some reason. (so stores don't lose money)
3) Thoughtseize will probably be in MM, if not, then GTC, but it won't be in GTC, because Wizards doesn't like fun.
So, collector's standpoint? Wait for them. Plan on using them before June? Get them in two-three weeks, after the initial hype dies down.
much appreciated. price spike definitely makes sense in terms of what you said. i personally have never seen a card spike so fast. im sure its happened before, ive just never witnessed it.
It'll fall when it is reprinted in Modern Masters. Lets just hope that it's not a mythic.
if it is reprinted in modern masters, im really hoping for no mythic stature on it either. for me, that would take a lot away from the card. throwing mythic on it kind of ruins it.
If it is going to make you feel better then... I still need a Moat for my Enchantress deck
ughhhh. i know how it feels, trust me. thats the beauty and the darkness of this game..certain cards that can make or break a deck.....i need 4 underground seas for a b/u thing im doing.

i felt the same exact way. i mean, its not a land, its not a tutor.

yeah, i had a full page of seize in a trade binder. i sold them for maybe $15 a piece when i got rid of them. if i could kick my own ass, i would.
foils??? that just hurts.
