Modern took alot of time to pic up some speed at my lgs but the sheer amount of deals my lgs did to get it going (cutting prices on the cash cards if there hosting the modern week). But even then we average 23-30ish players compare to standard 50+.
All is dust been doing fantastic in my matchups been loving it.
I wanna test vendalken Quarry as quicker and easier way to manage my sweeps and makes pyroclasm a actually answer splinter twin will be posting my new board. (chain reaction + quarry kills twin) also in UR tron I been running a playset of trickbind to combat pod and twin decks and its oddly enough working fine. IF I can find room to manage a small splash of blue im using it in G/R tron.
Staff of nin+ loam is a easy way to setup game 2 aginst land hate decks.

I dont own another karn that can be put into this deck but 3 been fine with me.
Pretty solid overall and very very reactive. Single copy of Unburial Rites + Angel gives me alittle umph when needed to combo out. Mortars as a one of is a godsend on all things thragtusk. Side board is alittle clunky but smoothes out aginst 90% of my bad matchups.
Been fooling around with simic for abit as it was my fav guild to play in the original block in tabletop magic. Sideboard was abit funky but out the collection Skylasher has been amazing.
Runs pure+paradise mantle+ lab manaica = instant win on endphase.
Get lab maniac on field with. Exile deck with Merrow on endstep.
Next turn "draw" and win.
ITs trollin only but shockingly I won a couple of games.
Modern hit off like a rocket in my LGS which is werid casues besides FNM vintage is second biggest comp format.
On average the following goes.
16-20 people (5 card proxy vitnage formats with some nice prizes)
22-35 Modern - MY LGS been supporting this and pushing out the modern "power" cards as prizes.
Are modern tournyies get about half-turnout compare to the shops launch dates.
The guy that runs the shop is even considering a modern masters draft (invite only 8 players.)
Ehh modern really doesn't need anymore fixing it's still a format in developing. Also instead of wasting your time about I dropped $$$ money on cards that just got banned. Work on your own ideas.
As for the list.

Ehh are local players decided to keep track of are prize winning. Figuring out that the shop was undercutting ever event. We all boycotted the events (60+ players and most of them from legacy and modern events.) plus got the local gamers their for other cards games to join us. After about 5 weeks he got back on track. Soo if your LGS does this keep track of it for awhile then try to get a boycot going.
