When do midrange decks have the investment to spend 6 mana, then 8? Midrange should win by turn 8. This wants to be a control finisher so badly, but its so terrible it has no chance. WotC has printed bad mythics(Cpt. Obvious) but they've felt like mythics. They were big and impressive. This would have been a "I guess its pretty good" rare but it is uninspired and underwhelming and just not FLAVORFUL enough. Sigh.
I like the card (a lot) but the art isn't doing it for me...Perhaps if it was closer in, I feel like this is a concept art. I like my legends to be up close and personal.
OOPS it's a mythic. Thought it was a rare. This is a terrible mythic and WOTC should feel terrible. This is a RARE. Could have done so much with a mythic gorgon...This feels like Innistrad. You Hit (Heliod, Elspeth, Xenagos) or you miss (this MYTHIC). Gg Theros.
This just in:midrange wins. Really? A card that untaps the lands and creatures you just tapped in a blueX midrange deck so that you can counter and not have to worry about leaving mana open for it? Awesome.
Aww...these totally wicked lands that enable you to scry for free and produce two colors of mana should be cheaper because I can't pay more than 25 cents for good cards

Xen, a request. A standard sig banner with Xenagos, the Reveler(this guy) with a nice Munchlax head photoshopped right on top of his head. On the left and right I would like Polukranos, the World Eater with the Theros art (let me know if you need a link) and a Stormbreath Dragon with the text "A monstrous storm is brewing" wherever it seems to be visible and out of the way of the art.

Oh my...This card is absolutely powerful. At four mana, a popular cost in midrange and a topper in aggro...He provides whatever you want. First of all, that plus one. It's not only insane but its flavorful, this card, the leader of the monsters, ENCOURAGES you to play GR. Also, how insane of a mana sink is that? Any of the noteworthy new monstrous cards *cough* Polukranos and Stormbreath Dragon *cough* want a piece of that action, and what is a board stalemate can turn into a monstrous beating.
Then, the 0. Hey guess what, haters? He protects himself. In addition, that nice ability provides a hasty creature that can give your Monstrous creatures like World-eater, stormbreath and even your bestow clowns like Emmissary of Porphurous legitimate back-up when they come clubbing in after the +1 ensures maximum awesomeness.
Naturally, no one cares about the Ultimate but its beautiful because you can pay any color of mana.
I'm sorry, but with cards like this, World-eater, Stormbreath, bestow dorks, Underworld Cerberus and THOUGHTSEIZE in Standard to back up threats like Domri Rade, Shadowborne Demon, Rakdos's Return, and even things that seem less noteworthy in Golgari or Rakdos, Jund Midrange will be the deck to beat Post-rotation. It will survive Olivia and Huntmaster leaving, you heard it here first, kids.

I'm excited here, as such poweful mana accelerators has proved very useful. Also, this shows that satyrs will be illustrated as disciples of the monsters...Not sure if he will see tournament play tho.
Monsters deck...interesting. Definitely a lot of boars and beasts as opposed to classic Greek dudes...hmmm. Not gonna complain, though. The new Boros legend is sick, and we've got regrowth and fires of yavimaya...Niiiice.

No. Wizards would file for a trademark years in advance, similar to how they develop their sets. And besides, we all ready have confirmation that this is a three set block, and have sound confirmation of 2014's set release schedule.
