Jan 16, 2014XBM Yosho posted a message on Primer constructionThus far it looks pretty solid. I agree with Obermeir on the inclusion of a Peasant section. It won't be a large section to add but it does give additional options.Posted in: -spooky- Blog

Jun 14, 2013XBM Yosho posted a message on Banned from the casual forum for 2 weeks.I am very much with you Cz on calling people out on bad advice and the like, I do my very best to keep the paper Pauper/Peasant section alive much as you do with multiplayer, I gave it a rules thread, started the Primer sub-section and I actively call people out if they throw something horrid out there. I certainly hope I don't get a vague ban one day because of it.Posted in: Cz Blog

I've never thought about Death Denied, it seems like an interesting choice.
4 Vault Skirge
4 Nim Lasher
4 Nim Shrieker
4 Tormented Soul
Spells 23
4 Bone Saw
4 Cranial Plating
4 Horned Helm
4 Bonesplitter
3 Sign in Blood
4 Geth's Verdict
4 Vault of Whispers
4 Darksteel Citadel
13 Swamp
4 Dark Ritual
4 Hymn to Tourach
3 Sinkhole
4 Doom Blade
This version consists of the Horned Helms being removed in favor of another artifact but in the form of a creature, Ornithopter. It has certainly improved the speed of the deck but now one issue is that I never get to play Nim Shrieker because he simply cost to much. I need something to replace him with and it has to be a creature. I need an artifact creature though or at the very least a creature that takes advantage of artifacts.
Thoughts? Maybe Frogmite?

If I wanted to throw this into Peasant it would look like this, so I need something like this Peasant build.. but for Pauper. Yay for Memnite.

That is something I would have suggested. Vulshok Morningstar costs way too much for Pauper and Oblivion Ring is way too valuable.
Did you need help with this deck? Ideas, thoughts? Or just posting to show?
Yes indeed! I have been so busy lately but now that I have moved to Reno I am running the field with my Pauper decks here. A few of the LGS out here have Pauper tournaments but I blew them out with my White Weenie so friggin hard haha.
I am looking forward to being more active once again. Still White Weenie is my go to deck for everything
Oddly enough though my equipment deck in my signature, is friggin smashing a lot harder here then in my old LGS.
It is certainly an interesting card. I do like it and it may be viable, my only reservation with it is after turn 3 or even 4 you would have to cast him for the entire mana cost and if you have a second one in your hand he is basically useless for another few turns.
Granted that may not be the worst thing but I know in my own stompy everything has a purpose at every single moment so I have zero dead cards at any given time. Like I said, my opinion is split; he could be good or he could be dead cards for a few turns. Can you afford to remove something worthwhile at any given time for a late game beater? I don't know.
I mis-posted this elsewhere so hopefully this is the right location to get a little help.
I am in the market for a new computer and I am used to the standard gaming rig (Giant PC). I am now at a point in my life where I need portability. I want a computer that is better then what I currently have which I will post at the very end.
So with that being said I will start off with a few things that I have heard and then a what is better portion.
1: For SC2 and Diablo3 I have been told and seen from several places and people that Intel is superior to AMD because these two games are more CPU dependent. True? False?
2: If going with Intel I have heard that the I5 4210U is better then the I7 4510U because these games do not use multi-threading. True? False?
3: Do I really need a 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M or will I be fine with a 2GB NVIDIA GeForce 840M?
4: I assume that 8GB DDR3L System Memory (1 Dimm) is enough?
The two systems I am looking at are below.
HP Envy 15t Select, total cost: $736.39

I appreciate any thoughts you guys have. I really don't want to spend more money then I have to. For reference I can play the game on high/ultra right now with this setup on my PC. Which laptop beats what I currently have?

Windows Vista

The only cards more expensive then 10 cents at my LGS were these,
Unmake = $1.00 per
Oblivion Ring = .50 cents per
So even to go highly competitive and versatile the cost is extremely minimal.
4 Benevolent Bodyguard
3 Guardian of the Guildpact
4 Icatian Javelineers
4 Kor Skyfisher
4 Razor Golem
4 Squadron Hawk
4 Standard Bearer
3 Suture Priest
3 Bonesplitter
3 Journey to Nowhere
2 Prismatic Strands
2 Unmake
Lands 20
17 Plains
3 Secluded Steppe
2 Dust to Dust
4 Inviolability
4 Kor Sanctifiers
2 Oblivion Ring
3 Sunlance
As for your match up section you can most likely take my Total Package White Weenie match up against my own Delver deck for that section if you wish. I don't have an in depth breakdown but my own Delver went 1 and 2 against my White Weenie due to the versatility.
Fixed to provide links.
4 dark ritual
4 funeral charm
4 duress
4 hymn to tourach
4 sinkhole
4 carnophage
4 vampore lacerator
4 dauthi horror
4 dauthi slayer
4 erg raiders
4 unholy strength
4 darkness
4 cuombajj witches
4 snuff out
Below is the deck that I take to tournaments and have consistent wins with. I think Suture Priest is an excellent card at a 3x both early or mid game because it makes your opponent think about if the creature they are playing is worth the beat to the face, and especially if you have 2+ out. It also becomes a target for removal so it also saves creatures such as Standard Bearer and Guardian of the Guildpact.
Ever since I through Standard Bearer into the deck and starting raising hell with it people have taken notice and started to use the card more often, and if you pair it with Inviolability the game is over in most cases.
I run 4x Benevolent Bodyguards simply because I value everything in the deck and I use him to either protect my creatures so they can attack through enemy mono colors or I use him to make the opponent waste removal on maybe a Suture Priest and just protect it away.
As you can see, my Kor Sanctifiers are in my sideboard, they are not mainboard cards.
